Beto’s: A Masterclass in How Not to Care Walking into Beto’s feels like stepping into a social experiment designed to test how low your expectations can go before you give up on humanity. The menu promises comfort, flavor, and value. What you actually get is confusion, regret, and the unmistakable feeling that everyone involved would rather be literally anywhere else. The food arrives with all the enthusiasm of a court summons. Bland, greasy, and somehow lukewarm and scorching at the same time—an impressive feat of culinary indifference. Ingredients taste less “fresh” and more “present at some point in the last decade.” Whatever seasoning is supposed to exist clearly called in sick and was never replaced. Service is a roulette wheel. You might get ignored. You might get rushed. You might get stared at like you are the inconvenience for ordering food at a place that allegedly sells food. Any request outside the absolute basics is treated like a personal attack. The atmosphere? Fluorescent lighting straight out of a DMV nightmare, paired with an ambiance that screams “we gave up years ago but kept the lights on out of spite.” Cleanliness feels optional. Comfort is not even in the conversation. Beto’s isn’t bad in an exciting, chaotic way. It’s bad in the most insulting way possible: boring, careless, and utterly uninterested in improving. This is the kind of place that makes you apologize to yourself for spending money.

Went for dinner. Second time in recent months. We love their food but it is frustrating. I ordered 4, 5 rolled taco supreme and a carne asada burrito. She says thank you with no total given until the window. Then says, something like 23. Abd some change. This happened at both visits, even though I specifically give the order 2 or 3 times each of the visits trying to make sure it is good. Uggghhh.

The food is great! But I asked for 2 shrimp tacos and the lady taking the order even asked how many I wanted but when I get home to my surprise i didn't even get shrimp tacos😂 now how you gunna mess up when theres no one els in the drive thru?? Other then that the food is fantastic.
