Food? Meh! 1 STAR! Our waitress, Sunset, was absolutely amazing! So friendly and understanding when we had any little hiccups with our meals.
So the beef nachos come with shredded beef, I requested sour cream on the side and no other garnishes. The sour cream was grainy and tasted off. My husband ordered a burger (honestly didn’t fully listen when he ordered, because I was happy to be ordering nachos!). The only problem he came across was with the tabasco and/or the ketchup. He always mixes the two, but this time he said something was off as well.

We were passing through and stopped in Ogden for the night. We received a complimentary free chips and salsa coupon from our hotel. Cactus Reds was a short walk across the parking lot so we gave it a whirl. We were seated immediately as they had recently just opened for dinner. Our server, Amy was wonderful. She always had a smile and asked us if we needed anything every time she walked by our table. The chips were crisp and warm. The salsa was not too spicy but just right and had a nice base and lots of tomatoes. The carne asada tacos were excellent as were the shrimp fajitas and margarita! We ate so much we didn’t have room for dessert, darn! Highly recommend Cactus Reds. Good food, nice atmosphere, and a good price. You won’t be disappointed.

This was super convenient since it attached to our hotel and we had a late check in. Food was extremely reasonable and tasty. They have a wide variety of options. Our server was also great especially since we walked in about 45mins to close. Definitely not disappointed!
Overall the quality and quantity of the food was good for the price. The service was prompt and friendly. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was how clean and well maintained the restaurant looked. The decor felt a little sterile. I loved the fresh tortilla chips. They were still warm and not greasy. The salsa was good but honestly nothing to write home about.
My main complaint is the food lacked seasoning. I was expecting a lot of flavor but it just wasn't there. I ordered the Alfredo and the chicken was perfectly cooked and actually well seasoned. The Alfredo sauce had a nice consistency and a hint of heat but was overall bland. My husband had the fajitas and again, the dish was bland. A bit of garlic would go a long way in this kitchen!

We just had our wedding here 4/26/25 and if I could give 100 stars I would. From walking in the door to see the place to the end everything was perfect! They offered so much for a very affordable price, the food was amazing and plentiful. While the room was a “blank canvas” they offered decorations, a dessert bar, and any help we needed to make our day extra special. It was very professional but a small hometown feel. Our guests from out of town got a great deal with our room block and the rooms were spacious and clean! We didn’t have a DJ but the had a sound system and board to play our playlist. Everything was wonderful and we highly recommend for events!
