This Grounds location has always been the best ever since I was in Junior High School. They also just remodeled and it’s really nice! I continue to meet clients and family here as a meeting place, and will always support my local coffee shop!

I bought a gift card for a friend at the Layton location and when they went to pay with it at the 30th street location they were told it was only good for the 12th street location. They had to get a ride to the 12th street location, which is permanently closed so I bought a gift card that is unusable!!!
I could forgive the gift card mistake, but the reason for the one star review is that they had already made the coffee and rather than just give it to him they made him drive to a closed location. Insanity! I will not be supporting this business any longer. There are many other local coffee shops with decent customer service.

This location seems to have a hostility problem. I’m much prefer the coffee and the people on 25th St. I get the same drink everywhere I go and for some reason this location is inconsistent every single time.

The rudest staff I have ever come across!! Especially the middle ages guy with round glasses…seriously he has worked there forever and gets worse every time I go in. The owners are lovely but the staff is an absolute nightmare. Every question is met with hostility and an eye roll. There’s too many other local, friendly options. Don’t bother with this one!

This has genuinely been my favorite coffee shop of all time. I spent countless hours in here studying, chatting, and making friends. I have since moved out of state, and this very coffee shop is all that I crave!!! Grounds for Coffee (especially this location) is phenomenal.

Dan and Suzy are the most kind and gregarious amazing people you will ever meet! I was driving today on Washington I saw a new Grounds for Coffee over by the Neptune Skating rink. It is AMAZING! Everyone needs to check it out. I bought drinks there for my work party.
