This location seems to have a hostility problem. I’m much prefer the coffee and the people on 25th St. I get the same drink everywhere I go and for some reason this location is inconsistent every single time.

The rudest staff I have ever come across!! Especially the middle ages guy with round glasses…seriously he has worked there forever and gets worse every time I go in. The owners are lovely but the staff is an absolute nightmare. Every question is met with hostility and an eye roll. There’s too many other local, friendly options. Don’t bother with this one!

This has genuinely been my favorite coffee shop of all time. I spent countless hours in here studying, chatting, and making friends. I have since moved out of state, and this very coffee shop is all that I crave!!! Grounds for Coffee (especially this location) is phenomenal.

Dan and Suzy are the most kind and gregarious amazing people you will ever meet! I was driving today on Washington I saw a new Grounds for Coffee over by the Neptune Skating rink. It is AMAZING! Everyone needs to check it out. I bought drinks there for my work party.

Been there a number of times and never have I had bad service or bad coffee. Until Feb. 26th 2025 at 9:45am. The girl was not very helpful or happy. Ordered a chiller 20oz. It was not made very well. Asked for fresh shoots but tasted like it had pre-made shots. Large chunks of ice.
