Fantastic place to eat in Ogden. Tonkatsu was fabulous, miso was tasty, and the California roll was actually really good (not usually a fan). Everything was great though. The atmosphere was fun and inviting as well. We’ll be back for sure.Parking: Parking lot is around back.
Every time that I’ve gone to Hanamaru it has been a delight. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. We are lucky to have authentic Japanese cuisine in Ogden, a true hidden gem. The owners run the front and back of house by themselves and they do an amazing job. Can’t wait to go back.
Great atmosphere, friendly mom and pop shop, reasonable prices, and good food. They are really small and only seat 5 tables. You can place a reservation ahead of time or just get takeout if they're full.

We went during lunch time on Saturday which means they had their ramen menu. Great portions of ramen for a great price that comes out nice and hot. The gyoza was delicious and the tempura veggies were great. Make sure to have a reservation because they fill up quickly.Only thing I wish they had was more topping options like an extra egg, menma (bamboo), or rayu (chili oil). Also, make sure to clean up your own dishes at the rack when you're done.Parking: They have a very small parking lot back behind but you'll probably have to park on the street

This is such a quaint small biz run by (I assume a husband and wife) and they are the only ones in the kitchen and serving! Definitely a place I feel great about supporting-Food was good and pretty high quality!Must make a reservation in advance!

Food is consistently good and cheaply priced in my opinion. It’s the closest thing I can find to authentic Japanese food in Utah.You’re always given a large amount of fish when you order the nigiri which is nice compared to other restaurants.
One of my favorite restaurants in Utah! Quality food. Their ramen is incredible (on their ramen day IFYKYK ?). They’re a family owned business and so quaint, top notch quality.

This place is fantastic and transports you to a cozy hole in the wall in Japan. The atmosphere is perfect, it’s immaculately clean, the service is great, and the food is on point. I had the buckwheat noodles and I wasn’t a fan but only because I prefer regular noodles. My husband had the pork katsu and the salad alone was worth returning for. Definitely call for reservations beforehand.
