Great food from the greatest Mexican restaurant we’ve ever been to.

I’ve been coming here for about 20 years. Still my favorite Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been too.

Friends brought me here on my 2nd day in Utah to sate my craving for Mexican food. The server brought the table some freshly made corn chips with individual bowls of salsa. I had their No. 10 Pancho Villa combo with taco and enchilda and a tamale with a side of beans and cheese. My friends both had taco salads. We were all impressed by the delicious quality food and impeccable service. Sadly, this store doesn't have beer, so only 4 stars!

Javier's will always and forever be my favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is always delicious, staff is always so friendly and outgoing, and prices are always reasonable. Also, they have THE BEST fried ice cream in all the world
Delicious Mexican Style dishes served super staff waitress very pleasant, helpful with discriptions of variety of Mexican Dishes on the menu atomsphere pleasant warm inviting clean dining area chips and salsa served right with the greeting food tasty, delicious, right portions served. Plenty of parking w/ handicap at entrance very clean parking area
Everyone loved their meals. The staff was very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be going again.
If you're from Ogden, then you know this place is a staple. My kids have grown up in these restaurants. The owner and his entire staff at ALL of his locations are top shelf. Kind, friendly, and very welcoming. However.....we went this last week( it's been a while) and while all the cleanliness and friendliness was still there, the food seemed to have e slipped a bit, portions seemed much smaller, rice seemed different, beans were very thin and just the overall appearance of our food was lacking. Toooo much enchilada sauce was all over our food, making it soggy and hard to taste the flavors we have always enjoyed. Pricing everywhere has sky rocketed, so it's not just here, but it was pretty pricy for what we received. 63.00$ for two dinner entrees and one appetizer as an entree and TWO sodas. We for the first time in 27 years were disappointed when we left.
Good food

Love the salsa at Javier's, and every dish I've tried from there.
Love it.
Items on menu has trended down, and waiter could have been nicer
I love this place. But $20 for three enchiladas is just wild. 3 tortillas with chicken, beans and rice.. $3 for flour tortillas added... I've been going to this place all my life. I get inflation but this is created for a few dollars. And sold for $20!
Awful how when something has cheese on a take out order they ALWAYS melt the to go box into the food. Sooo toxic! Ask for a side of something and not put in the bag. Ask for something to be left off and it gets put on there anyway. I wish there was an option for negative stars. This has been a recurring problem. Lost a loyal customer in me.
