Very friendly, inexpensive spot for a tasty breakfast or lunch. Avocado toast was delicious, and a perfectly-sized portion. Excellent bacon, too! The pastries looked fabulous but we exerted some self-control for once.

This has been a family favorite for a number of YEARS. We consistently enjoy our experience and we know many of the staff. Each visit is a welcome back and the coffee and snacks are amazing. One of my suggestions would be the turnovers, just leave one for me.

best local coffee shop in ogden! friendly baristas, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and incredible coffee. the staff genuinely make my mornings better and have come to know my name, order, occupation, cat’s name, etc! :’) some of the sweetest people i know! i may be biased, but i will say… Meg makes the best latte known to man. if you see her at the bar, you’re about to have a blessed day! thank you kaffe merc, for all you do!

I just want to say upfront that I LOVE Kaffe Mercantile, and I’ve been coming here for almost five years. They have the best coffee, and the vibe is so great. Up until recently I would’ve considered this a five star place. Sadly, lately this location has been a slight disappointment. Wait times have gotten longer with changing staff even with the same size crowd of customers, and it’s sadly too long of a wait now unless I have 20 minutes and I’m the only one in line. Today I had the worst experience I’ve had here (honestly still better than most shops though!). I came in, and there was one guy in front of me. I ordered one drink. Then a bunch of the staff’s friends came in and ordered after me. I stood there for 10-15 minutes waiting for my one drink while the baristas chatted with them and fulfilled their order. I wouldn’t usually mind too much, but I was standing there holding my one year old, 30wks pregnant, and just trying to get back home for naptime. It’s sad because this location is so close to my house, and it used to be pretty quick with super professional staff. I’m not mad, just bummed because I used to be able to be able to rely on this spot being quick and professional. I’ll be blocking out more time for my visits and likely choosing The Mercantile most times instead. They seem to be the most on top of it location. Still love you guys!

Great choice of beans, roasts, etc. Chicken salad sandwich was delicious and the server at the counter was friendly, and remembered us from the day before. Impressive! If we're ever back in town again we will drop by.

Used to go here often They are too slow to check people out at the register and one of the gay male employees was kissing with his boyfriend Infront of ne one time and I found that vomitous. So I stopped going. Tried one more time to see if anything changed but still the same as previous experience

They make strong DELICIOUS coffee even if it's decaf (I'm caffeine sensitive). I know it's weird to get coffee and do decaf, but my sensitivity has happened over time. I love this, and it's so delicious and worth it. The coffee cake is the best I've ever had. Everything is so good, full-bodied, and the customer service is exceptional.

It’s a real bummer when you pay $8 for a coffee to get a cup of iced oat milk with absolutely zero coffee flavor. I love this place so much but with all the new hiring, the coffee and service is progressively getting worse. 5 people with aprons on doing nothing but gossiping in the back and took ten minutes to get my “coffee” with no one else in the store. I’m insanely loyal to my coffee shops and hate that I’m losing hope in my favorite one. You need a full staff of Meg’s and Mikah’s and I think her name is Racheal. Monday morning crew rocks.
