Nicolas and the young teenage girl were both very rude! They need to be in training on how to give proper customer service. Standing there waiting to pay for more than 10 minutes. When it was my turn i walked up to counter and said hi and smiled and no acknowledgement just looked like I was bothering them. I also Said thank u to both of them and they just gave dirty looks. If you Hate your job maybe you should find another one! Very unfriendly.

The food is amazing, authentic Mexican— the tortillas are made in-house and were fantastic, and beans and rice done perfectly! Our entrees were delicious, fried ice cream was a treat!! Many thanks to Carlos for excellent recommendations and fantastic service. Many compliments to the chef. Will be back next time we visit Layton. ?

La Puente is one of those places that's just consistently delicious. We always get the 2 smothered burritos with rice and beans and they never disappoint! Sometimes I'll just get it to-go, and it's ready in about 20 minutes.Parking: Plenty of parking all around the building. About 10 stalls in front of the doors, but you can also park around the side facing the building or in the wider lot.

From the time we walked in and were greeted with a very warm welcome all the way to paying and out the door the service was excellent! The good was just amazing, and the portions were perfect for the price. I also have to mention the atmosphere here is very warm and inviting.

Tortillas are soggy, no green chili, smothered on burritos every time. I order it on the side to smother my own. They don’t do anything to take care of a problem. None going. The whole place went so bad.
