On Friday, June 20th, I experienced an inappropriate and unacceptable encounter with one of the security guards, an older man with a long gray beard named Simon. Due to a flooding issue, the women’s restroom had been closed. I had observed several other women using the men’s restroom without issue. As I approached the men’s restroom to do the same, Simon physically grabbed me, pulling me backward as I was opening the door. He then made an inappropriate and offensive comment: “Those boys don’t want you watching them pee.” Whether or not I was permitted to use that restroom is not the issue. What concerns me is the aggressive physical contact and the highly inappropriate remark. A verbal instruction would have sufficed. The physical contact was unacceptable, and his comment was entirely unprofessional and offensive. We reported the incident to a bartender, who stated she would inform the owner. However, I believe this matter deserves further attention, as no one should be subjected to this kind of treatment. I hope appropriate action will be taken to ensure the safety and respect of all patrons.

Food was awesome, we love bad humor burgers and they definitely hold up outside of the food truck, which is where I know them from! Our bartender Zach was super friendly and we received great service, I was a little hesitant to try the place after the rebranding but I'm a huge fan now! They could use some amenities like a pool table or Cornhole out back, something to pass the time on slow night's, but food and service are top notch, so what more could you want : )

Zach was a great bartender. The food from Bad Humor has always been great, food truck to in house. I used to go to lighthouse, old bar before, and compared the atmosphere isn't as busy but the service is wonderable regardless. Don't punish the workers for a new owner. Patio is just as comfortable as it used to be, if not more relaxing and prices are fair! Give it a chance.

New owners fired beloved staff, raised prices, took away everything great, lied about it all despite the proof etc. A big F U to the Ogden community. And to boot they're leeching off of the previous ratings, misleading people. Browse the reviews for only the last year and you'll see the dump this place has become. RIP Lighthouse Lounge!

Great drinks, modest price! Jazzy music 🎶 more of an upscale feel for Ogden.

It's such a cute place! New management has really spiced the place up. It's really cute inside and the drinks are reasonable, the bartenders are great and the atmosphere is just fun and alive! There was a live band last night and they did really well.

My bartender Nate was amazing. He's fast, efficient, personable, inviting and sweet.

The doorman/bouncer was super sweet also and did a great job protecting us ladies and the bar. Great experience!!!

This is an okay bar but the food options are small, mediocre, and expensive for what they are. The new menu is a sharp downgrade from what they used to have but their drink selection is good at least.

They have super fun live bands on Saturday's!

I’ve come to renditions of this Bar for the last 20 years. Whoever owns it has their pros and cons on how they conduct their business and rightfully so. I recently have considered going to a different place due to their sharp rise in beer prices. For what it’s worth.

New bar got bought out by Republicans, fired the old staff, stopped doing the events we loved, and jacked up prices. I’m devastated that my favorite place in Ogden got turned into another shitty basic Utah bar.

As an LGBTQ+ woman who had friends that used to work here, I will not support this bar anymore.

The only reason to go here is the food now that Bad Humor Meat & Cheese is there; however, the bar side of the house leaves much to be desired. The crowd was sketch, the drinks were meh, and the bartenders attitude wasn't exactly welcoming.

Wow… when this bar was the lighthouse it was such a great dive bar. Just the right amount of campy feel, bartenders that knew/liked what they were doing, cheap pitchers of beer, fried everything on the menu. A genuine dive bar. The change here ultimately is the price! There absolutely no pitchers of beer, no ice cold glasses, and even worse, PBR (not my drink of choice) is approximately 6-7$???? There’s pretty much no deals, on food or drink during the week. No events during the week.
Now, understandably, there has been struggle with the new owners due to gossip and the internet presence of the new owners taking on a life of its own… these things have nothing to do with the bartenders that have tried to help cultivate the atmosphere of the past. (Jill Dawson). But the food quality, change/reduction of the menu, and the PRICES, change my mind about this place entirely.
October 9th: $19.61
September 25th: $20.61
September 23rd: $27.73

And mind you, drink of choice is miller light… This has never changed. The receipts here is for 2 people, with a split bill! (Obviously we need to leave out the judgment over the consumption amount! :) )
I often wonder the reason for the jump is due to the “renovations”? Which I admit are nice… but the red light has ultimately suffered. Some of the regulars that I had come to know from the light house have disappeared. The times from previous days, heading in after work, on a wing Wednesday are long gone. The people and bar banter replaced by more T.V.s, and tables with a lot of empty chairs. Barren and a stark difference of the atmosphere of f the past.
Now, I understand that this had been a place of music and were artists gathered… I don’t know enough of that aspect to comment. But it truly benefits a place to be welcoming, and for the people. Things seemed to have changed.

Parking: Parking in front 25th street, and ample parking in back lot.
