Not something youād think has amazing food. Building is nondescript and plain. Very easy to miss but it makes it in a best kept secret you want to share. We got the two meat plates. We got Kuala pork and teriyaki chicken and grilled chicken. They give you two heaping piles of rice and Mac salad. The guava cake was so moist and not too sweet. They give you sauce options and thereās Hawaiian drinks or coke products. The menu is very clear and thereās even a drive thru. Bathrooms were clean and it was nice and quiet. Great place to stop on your way out of town if you donāt mind a bit of a detour. This is one of two locations. Iāve been to both and love them.

Being from Kauai, we had to try Lolo Hawaiian BBQ. We weren't disappointed. We had the three meat mix with teri chicken, teri beef, and kalua pork; tempura shrimp, gyoza, and teri chicken musubi. The portions on the mix plate were generous, and flavors were what I would expect back home except for the kalua pork which needed a little more liquid smoke. Other than that, my Island yearnings are temporarily satisfied. Mahalo nui. I look forward to you expanding to the Boise, ID area where we now reside.
