If I order 24hr breakfast I want fresh food. I think you gave me food from that morning that was saved for people like me so you dont have to cook. Do better. Eggs hashbrowns were garbage.

When me and my family arrived at this diner at first it took them 15 minutes before being seated and then after we was finally seated we sat there for almost an hour nobody came to take our drink order nobody came to take our food order and then we watched four other groups come in be seated and have their orders taken right away while me my boyfriend and our four little kids sat there waiting to the point where we just got up and left because nobody even acknowledged us or even came over and touched her table and said I am so sorry we'll be right with you nothing nobody said a word to us and we was just left sitting there waiting worst customer service worst business I have ever seen in my life if I was that manager I would be embarrassed to manage that place and as we were leaving I noticed two of the servers sitting in the back eating and talking three of the servers was at the front desk when you walk in to be seated talking and joking around and laughing nobody was being managed nobody was doing their job it was really quite pathetic!!!

So normally we love Black Bear! We get sat, we love the food, and it’s very good service!
My husband and I went in this morning. Very nice lady, told us it would be a five minute wait, awesome! And boom, we got sat in under a few minutes. My husband and I chat it up waiting for a server. 5 minutes…. 10 minutes…. 20 Minutes. We’re kinda confused by this point but chalked it up to being a busy breakfast service. They’re continuing to seat people in our section so we assume they’re busy, no problem! We really don’t mind.
Then someone got sat… got waited on even thought we were sat first. Nobody was even acknowledging us. We were so confused and really upset… 35 minutes goes by and we just honestly give up.
We would still love to return to Black Bear, we’re just very upset at the lack of communication. We had employees look at us, but none even said hey are you guys ok? Did you get served yet? Nothing…

i went here for my birthday breakfast, and it was very good! i am a massive pancake lover, and they have THE BEST pancakes i've tasted in town. i got the mini volcano breakfast and asked for their blueberry compote on top, as im obsessed with blueberry pancakes. it was delicious. they make their pancakes with sweet cream which makes them sweet and incredibly fluffy.
unfortunately i cannot remember our waitresses name, but she was so friendly and had the best smile you have ever seen. seriously.

I didn't recognize it at first but they have a Black Bear Diner in Gresham, Oregon I really like. I had Fried Chicken with coleslaw and fries. Laurie had the turkey with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Excellent.

Well where to start. The server was amazing but my eggs and ham were cold. I wasn’t gonna get her yelled at by the manager so I ate it. Went to the woman s rest room. Oh my. The handicapped stahl door doesn’t close right the toilet is not taller per state and federal guidelines and as others came in to the bathroom there I was in all my glory for anyone to see with the gap and it was most embarrassing. The whole event was told to the manager and nothing was done . The Hispanic manager laughed at me for being so sensitive about the bathroom and people who came in with their kids saying “mommy the lady in there is pulling up her stockings I saw her who ha” cold food didn’t matter and state and government l am disappointed and calling them

Arrived at 9:45 pm to an illuminated open sign and the hours say open til 10pm. Door was locked, someone who I can only assume is an employee drives by in the parking lot and yells out her window: “sorry guys I don’t know why the open sign is on we are closing early.”
She didn’t even stop her car to tell us. The worst service and experience I have ever had. Papa bear Manley would be ashamed.
