Came here for my birthday. They have a gluten free menu. It's not big. I told the manager I'm gluten free and i asked for the gluten free menu. It makes me vomit. When it was time to order appetizers I asked for edamame. She asked garlic or salted. I said garlic thinking it was just garlic salt. When it came it was covered in sauce. I took a bite and tasted soy sauce. I asked the manager if there's soy sauce in it. She said yes. I told her before I cant have gluten. There's gluten in soy sauce. I asked for a salted one instead because I can't have the garlic one. She said she will charge me for both since I took a bite. If I finished it without checking I would vomit. When I looked at the normal menu I asked if it's possible to make certain sushi gluten free. She said they can try. I asked for a roll with crab in it. I also asked for no sauce. When it was brought to me the crab was fried in tempura. No where did it say it was tempura. Also she's been working here for a while. She should know if it had gluten or not and at least warn me like "this is tempura crab are you sure it'll be okay?" Nope. At the end my mom had to scold the manager like she was a little child to take the garlic edmame off of the bill. The manager's behavior was ridiculous. I had to remind her over and over again I was gluten free. Then when my mom scolded her the manager said she didn't know who was gluten free at the table. I call bull crap on that. She's the one who handed me the gluten free menu. How could she not know? If anyone with dietary restrictions come here the only safe option is water. Also expect to be treated like crap for being an inconvenience apparently getting a lawsuit isn't their concern. The edamame was $5 and the manager refused to take it off the receipt until my mom put her in her place. The manager was really concerned over $5 that she messed up.
Dietary restrictions: The manager doesn't know her menu well enough to warn you if there's something that you can't eat

We found this place by accident. The staff were SUPER friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. In fact the egg drop soup reminded me of our year in Asia. No State side restaurant has gotten the great true flavor of this simple soup. We plan to come back even though they are 50+ miles from our home.

Ordered 2 rolls for takeout (crunchy roll and Baja roll). For 15 bucks each, they were very small/thin rolls. The crispy noodles on the roll were so stale and had an almost rubbery texture. My husband had the Baja roll and said the rice had a bad texture like it had been out too long (we did order shortly before closing). He mentioned the only flavor in the roll came from the hot sauce they added and the rest was incredibly bland. Frustrated that what was meant to be a little treat/splurge turned into $30 of small portioned food we couldn't finish.

Took my family here from out of state, hyped up how good the restaurant was just for the waitress to prove me so wrong, she had a super displeased energy & gave attitude at my family from out of town whom was special food requests , which would accommodated last time I ate here.
I will not be returning ever due to the waitress attitude and demeanor,
We wanted our sushi and entrées delivered at the same time and she was extremely upset with us for even requesting that,so whack
Sad cause they had yummy sushi & vegan entrées options
Yet I'd rather save myself the attitude I have to $ pay for and eat at home instead ??
We tried this place due the reviews and it was great. The service was great here as many waitress checked with us an our drinks were always full. Food was very good as well.

Very quick and polite service! We had a large group of 8 that came in last minute on a Saturday night and they accommodated us pretty easily, were happy to split our check multiple ways, and the food came out quick. The rice was fresh and everything was pretty good given the price point. Great sushi option if you're craving it.
