It is my husband's and my 55th Anniversary, and his birthday today and we hadn't been able to go out like this for a few years, so I ordered my favorite which was Prime Rib. It was tough and chewy to the point that I could not eat more than a few bites, or tried to? The Waiter ( Jeffery ) brought out another... no better so for me it was Very disappointing. We got our desserts at no cost, which wasn't what I'd expected after such a tough meal! It didn't cover the price of one of the one prime ribs that was Not edible ( not to mention 2nd one either ) So, it was a disappointment for sure. Wouldn't go back.

Went here for with my co-workers for a Christmas luncheon. My waiter told everyone that he was new which is great being open and honest. Myself and another coworker ordered bacon cheeseburgers. We were not asked how we would like the doneness on the burger, that was the number 1 issue. Then when our food arrived, the burger was overcooked and charred to the point of not being enjoyable at all. Sorry to say that I will not ever go back to this establishment again.

We've been going here for over 40 years, and it's crazy how bad the food is here now. Also how expensive it is for what you get. We all went here for a birthday dinner celebration and were all disappointed. But the waitress was good, and she provided decent service. So we'll give her 5 Stars, but the food, portions of food, and the price was 1 star only. Very disappointing that this place has come to this now.

The Prairie Schooner is a great steak house. Their appetizers are on point. Their service is very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend for a date night or for company functions.

Came here for a small company dinner on 12/01/2025 and everyone seemed to love what they ordered! Food was great! It was my first time trying lobster tail, and I loved it!! The chicken was delicious and tender, and I loved the Spinach artichoke dip. The steak unfortunately did not meet my expectations for the price, but was still good. A note to management, the restaurant was mostly empty and we had a private room, but right outside that room, several employees were talking, fighting, and laughing, so loudly we could hardly hear each other speak across the table. Several times we heard another employee tell them to “shhh” but they continued with the loud banter on and off for our entire dinner. Hopefully those employees don’t continue to ruin the nice atmosphere. This is something I would expect to encounter Applebees or bar, not a nice restaurant!

Thanksgiving I was told not processed meat but yes and less portions than Bear Diner. I paid a fortune but I'm 🙏 everyone nice .

I came in thanksgiving last year and was the most awful experience. I was reminded to do this review because I will never go back and wish to save you from the same mistake my family made. Only 1 of 5 of us ordered thanksgiving meal and it was way over salted. It was really strong where the food would bite your mouth. Really dry turkey so the gravy was needed but much too salty. 2/3 steaks were sent back and took 20 minutes to get them back. Overall for the time and money and problems with food, it wasn’t anything I’d want anyone to experience. Maybe 20 years ago but it’s a no brainer to even ever try that again. Miserable.

Had our company party here. Room was very cold. We asked for heat to be turned up and it did not happen. Waiter was overwhelmed with our large party. Being the only staff with our large group he never got back to check how our food was? Probably knew it was cold and steaks were not cooked as ordered. Batter on shrimp was under cooked. Waiter should of had help with such a large group. Manager should be out asking customers how food and experience is, was? Never happened.Took an hour just to get drinks and bread. Have loved going there till now. With the prices you have should of been a five star experience. Overall 2 to 3 star. We will not be booking a large group again!!!
