We came here as a family for the first time a few weeks ago. We love trying out local restaurants and supporting them.Right when we walked in (around 5:00 on a Friday night), we were greeted warmly and very quickly. The owner was also the host. He seated us and was kind, funny, and obviously very knowledgeable about the various menu items. Our waitress saw us quickly and got our drink order. She also helped answer some questions we had. We got our food in a decent amount of time. It was all so delicious! My husband got the minestrone soup while the rest of us got salad. The salad dressings were different- in a very good way! Really good! Our pasta (spaghetti, tour of rovali’s with chicken, lasagna and two fettuccine Alfredo’s) all had great flavor. Portion sizes were more than plenty also. Our kids ate their food all up without hesitation (regular entrees, not kids meals). For dessert, we ordered the cookie dough cake and carrot cheesecaken. I don’t like cheesecake so I didn’t try that but my husband and daughter loved it. The cookie dough cake was delicious. My son agreed. ? oh! And I found out all their cakes can be ordered for takeout (birthdays, celebrations, etc). They rotate every week I believe. The owner’s daughter is the baker and clearly is good at what she does! The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant isn’t too big but I didn’t feel like we were stuffed in there. There’s enough room to walk around and feel comfortable. By the time we left, there was a line of people waiting to be seated so, if you can, arrive early on the weekends!Overall, we really enjoyed Rovali’s and will absolutely be visiting them again!Kid-friendliness: Our kids LOVED it! Lots of fun drink options also!

The owner greeted us and was the seating host. He makes you feel welcome and like family. His daughter is the baker, and the desserts are amazing and tasty. The wine and cocktails are equally delicious and with ecclectic options. The food was delicious too. They run specials that are impressive. We love this place for good Italian food, liquor, and desserts. We will definitely be back!

$20 for a kid sized meal & flavorless food.. pretty disappointing considering this is a 4.5 star restaurant.

Great spot for good and fresh Italian food. Had the special which was not as good as some of their other stuff but still good. Their red sauce is very robust and delicious. Took home a slice of the carrot cheesecake and it is the absolute best I have ever had!

We went out tonight to celebrate a birthday and the birthday girl wanted Rovalis. We went in and were seated. We sat there for over 25 minutes and no one acknowledged us. No drinks, nothing! People that were seated after us already had drinks and their food ordered! We got up to leave and no one said a word to us. I understand that it gets busy but when there are over half a dozen servers just standing at the counter, that is when enough is enough! We will think twice before returning.

The atmosphere should own its antique facade and do away with the tacky Italian mobster posters. There is so much to Italian culture, it is sad when a place tries to play off of stereotypes. However, I enjoyed our server, and the food was decent! He gave us great recommendations for activities within Ogden!

This place was recommended to me and I was not disappointed at all. The portions were large, as all good Italian portions should be. It was flavorful and the price was great.

Fairly average Italian food. I had the chicken parmesan. The chicken was dry and overcooked. The meat sauce is very sweet and not particularly good with either the chicken or the pasta. The service was good.

They were awesome, my husband was in a performance and we had to eat and go. They were awesome in getting us in and rushing our food. And they were super friendly about it as well. The food was great too.
