decided to go here with my family for a birthday And after waiting 20 minutes just to get drinks from being seated. ( The place was empty We were there around 4:30 PM) A family member ordered a medium rare steak and it came out overcooked and burnt. I also didn’t receive a side with my order which took another 20 minutes to get. We had to ask another waitress to go find our server so we could talk to him about the Burnt steak and she couldn’t find him anywhere. After she took our order and brought us out a new one, it was just as bad Way overcooked. After we got our sides, that never came out with the main meal no one els would help our table. not happy for 200$ meal

The atmosphere is wonderful! It's just beautiful inside and it is decorated very well! The service was very good, but the food was just good. I would go for the atmosphere, but I can make better steaks. All in all, it's a good place to visit and enjoy your family over some decent food. To God be the glory

If you want a damn good steak that is ACTUALLY cooked the way you ask, Ruby River is it. The atmosphere is very rustic and timeless. I look forward to going to Ruby River. It is a bit more expensive than the chain steakhouses but you get very high quality beef.

Our recent trip there was one of the more miserable dining experiences we’ve ever had! We took our kids there for a back to school meal and almost had 2 of them passed out. It had to be at least 80-85 degrees in the restaurant. My daughter had sweat beads rolling down her face and was close to passing out. My kids steak skewer kids meals had to be sent back and some were completely raw. We were so hot and miserable. It seemed like every waiter around us was just apologizing to tables for one thing or another. Whether it was terrible food, menu items out of stock or the heat. I’m so so so mad we decided to come there for a family dinner and spend our hard earned money on an overall terrible experience. We left there feeling sick and irritated. It was such a relief to step outside of the restaurant because it was much cooler and didn’t smell like mold and mildew. I think it’s safe to say we will NEVER be back.

My cousins recommended we meet here for dinner during my visit to Utah. The appetisers were delicious - we shared buffalo wings, jalapeno poppers, and the steak & avocado rolls. The pork ribs were disappointing - dry and tough. Nothing falling off any bones here without a strong steak knife. We mentioned it to the server, who brought over the manager, who promptly sorted out a fresh batch of tender ribs and made it worth our trouble. My side dishes were a Caesar salad and a loaded jacket potato. Very filling.

Has a great atmosphere but I expected an amazing cut of steak and was very disappointed. I ordered a ribeye med rare as it should be. It was tough and barely medium and had no flavor to it at all. I've had better steaks from Applebee's for half the price. I dont intend on ever returning.

It’s been at least five years since my wife and I have been here and wow! It did not disappoint. The steak was great, the Caesar salad was great, the jalapeño poppers were great, even the sweet potato fries were good. Definitely going to turn this into one of our regular spots

We had dinner there tonight. We have been there many times in the past and it has always been good but it has sure gone downhill. The service was great but the food was extremely overcooked! The shrimp skewer and salmon were SO dry that they were hard to swallow. The eggs, on the garden salad, were frozen and the yams were overcooked. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else!!! Don't waste your money here. The portable air conditioners are very loud as well.

Went there for a wedding luncheon, and they did a great job. The food and service was to notch. The A/C was out, so it was REALLY hot, but other than that, it was pretty good!

Unfortunately this is not the Ruby River I remember. No AC in July and we were seated upstairs for a large party. We ended up having to strip my daughter down to her diaper because she was getting overheated. Do better!

I didn’t remember being this disappointed the last time I was here. I got a 12 oz Prime Rib with asparagus and sweet potato fries.

Despite being almost empty at 5 pm on a Monday, service was extremely slow. But more disappointing was the food. Portions were great but nothing tasted fresh. The prime rib was leathery, the fries cold, and the asparagus hot on one end and cold on the other.

Service was slow. He was very nice but never asked how the food was.

Overall, despite the beautiful decor, this place is is in dire need of some Gordon Ramsey or Jon Taffer intervention.
