The lunch proportion was scant. The front wooden steps leading up to the porch and entry are in need of repair and upgrading.

Never been for lunch before only dinner. Our food was not so good and a bit cold. We had a table of 15 guests and they were not impressed.

One of my favorite steakhouses, you can't go wrong here! Great service and excellent steaks! I had the garlic bacon sirloin, it was amazing!

After tipping an ungodly amount they had the audacity to demand more. Will not be back. The server was rude and the food took 45 min to get to us after waiting 30min past our reservation time to be seated. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Demanding a 50% tip after getting a garbage experience was the cherry on top. I will be telling everyone about this. Cheap slimy yellow iceberg lettuce with brown avocado. The steak was rubbery and cold. Disgusting.

This building has not changed since the last time I was here 18 years ago. There are so many hazards in the front entryway. There were light switches for the rooms right where you wait. There was some kind of metal stand that had an extension cord loaded like a Clark Griswald holiday display.
The food: very bland. Zero flavor. It was cooked to medium rare but like nothing was even savory about the New York steak. All three of us ordered that and not one of us made it halfway through them. The salt and pepper shaker is a glass soda bottle with two holes poked in the top that lets out a gallon of salt and pepper. The “Gorgonzola” topping on the New York tasted off. The garlic mashed potatoes was some kind of liquid soup, none of us touched. I asked for horseradish and was brought thin shavings of horseradish not actual creamed. They tasted like o was eating sticks with my meat. The bathroom toilets in the ladies room were constantly running and need to be fixed. I’m sure the water bill has been insane. And there was a slight sewer smell coming back to the tables. We won’t be back. Very disappointed. Our bill for 3 New York’s and burger was $98. I was so disappointed in my meal I didn’t take any photos.

We ordered a bacon wrapped peppered sirloin medium. It came out well done. We had it sent back and asked that it be cooked medium. When the new steak came back it was totally raw in the middle and had a hard burnt crust on the outside. We have never had such an experience here before.

We’ve dined here many times and it’s been good, but we went last Sunday and I don’t think I’ve had a worse meal. They lost the order somehow and then tried to get the food out quickly because they were closing (at 7, which seemed strange). I guarantee they microwaved the steak and ribs to hurry it along. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Went in for lunch. Place was empty and a little more run down than I remeber. Biggest problem was the meat quality. It was awful. Select beef at best. I get that beef is more ezpensive, but it was just bad.

Food has gone way downhill...overcooked burnt appetizer, bun on sandwich was stale., lettuce was wilted & brown.
Everything was very greasy & unpleasant to even try to eat.
They also have zero options for very younger kids as stated by 2 diners we were sat close to & no healthier options at all.
The atmosphere is also very dark & dingy.
It is like sitting in a dark cave in there.
They need better menu options, less grease, some fruit & lighter options, better cooks & brighten up the dining area.
Won't be back.

We came in for my birthday and it was an awesome experience! Kayla was our server and she was incredibly warm and excited to make suggestions for my birthday order. She was really personable and I'm so glad I had someone so fun and kind on my birthday. I ordered the ribeye because I like me some fatty meat, and omg. Divine. VERY flavorful and distinctly different taste than the sirloin, which my boyfriend ordered. The ribeye was like a peppery kind of flavor while the sirloin had some kind of garlic butter on it.
Overall I'm really happy we decided to come here. Loved the atmosphere, the hospitality, and I'm still dreaming about that steak.
Thanks Kayla! And thanks for sending me home with my birthday desert with all the fixins! 🥳

The only reason I gave a 4 star was because the lighting is horrible! My husband and myself used the flashlight from our phones to look at the menu. The food was good and the service was outstanding. We absolutely loved our waitress Sherry, she made our visit enjoyable and satisfactory. We will revisit next time we're in town.

We had a phenomenal server named Ashley who took care of our very large group. Food was very tasty. I use a scooter so the restaurant said to go around back to a door where there's no stairs! Very customer oriented. I'd recommend Ruby River to friends and family.
