We saw the new Lilo and Stitch movie and were in the mood for some Hawaiian food! We decided to stop at the Rumbi Island Grill on Riverdale Road; what a great decision! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with such a fun, upbeat atmosphere. The place has such good energy, and the island vibes are spot on.
The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. But what really made our experience stand out was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and took such good care of us the entire time.
We left full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving great Hawaiian food and even better hospitality!

I'm visiting my grandparents, and they love this place! I'd mentioned liking sweet pork at one point and they brought me here and it did not disappoint! Normally i go for cafe rio or costa vida for sweet pork, but they're incomparable! My grandma and I shared a full bowl and it was plenty of food. The staff was so kind, helpful, and hilarious. I loved everything about it, and I definitely plan to come back next time I visit (i even found a location closer to my house that i can go to!)

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Every time I come to Rumbi Island Grill, I’m blown away by the service—but especially by the guy with the grayish-black hair and goatee. He is hands down the BEST. Always welcoming, incredibly kind, and you can tell he genuinely cares about every customer. He makes the whole experience better, remembers regulars, and just brings a great vibe to the place. Rumbi is lucky to have someone like him repping their brand. Keep it up!

We walked in and were met warmly by Ryan. He was kind and friendly and ready to do anything to make our experience great. We were sharing an order and he split it between two containers without us even asking. Her personally brought it to us and asked if there was anything he could do for us. He even brought us utensils and napkins because we hadn't picked any up yet. Ryan checked in with us again to make sure we were enjoying our food and went on to chat with us for a few minutes, expressing his delight in having us there. He wanted to make sure that the food made us happy but also that the people made us happy and feel welcome. He was the same way with every customer that came in and with his fellow employees as well. Warm, welcoming, great food, and great people. We will be going again! This is a place that wants your business and works to make you happy so you keep going back. Wonderful!

Been going there for years. Quality has gone down, not to mention the size of salads. I oreder a large salad and it was more like a small! Not sure what the small would be,no lettuce? Sad because it used to have good portions and fresh food. Salad is wilted.
