The reputation of the Straw market is legendary around Pleasantview and North Ogden. When I visited, it had the feel of a small convenience store. The pastries were fresh, and the staff was semi-attentive. The clerk couldn't figure out the Styrofoam containers, thus making it difficult for me to open them later because they were upside down. I asked for a receipt and didn't get one, maybe because I paid with cash? I'm not sure on that count. Lots of seating and tables for small area. Great use of the area in general. One problem with the restroom (very clean, by the way) is that the light switch didn't have a cover. Safety hazard in anyone's book.
i went here and tried to buy a rice crispie treat then the lady kicked me out and that’s not all there were a bunch of kids running around screaming swear words

Straw Market is one of my family's favorite places. My kids hang out here all the time and their sugar cookies remind me of my grandma's when I was little. We love our little local market 🙂
I dont really do reviews but I've been going to the straw market since I was 14 when it first opened, I'm 30 now. won't be going back. last couple times I got soggy half cooked fries then paid 10 bucks for a burger not even worth 5 and it didn't even come with fries. rather go anywhere else but here now.

We we arrived we were the only one's in the restaurant. 5 other groups arrived after us. They were being served before us. At this point, we've already waited 45 minutes, waiting for an omelette and layered & loaded.. After quite a wait, we're able to get our food.I have to say it was pretty dang good

I dont even know if 1 star is appropriate. 1st when we got there the lady looked at us multiple times without saying anything and with a look as if she didn't know why we were there. 2nd when I ordered crepes she checked to see if she had them in the fridge so needless to say they weren't fresh and came out cold as if directly from the fridge not even heated and with so much whipped cream filling is was like an entire can and that's all I could taste. And 3rd the hashbrowns were so salty none of us could even eat them. I was trying to go with a small business and not a major chain restaurant and this was just sadly a fail.
