We came for the amazing Pokemon murals. But the food was so good we would definitely come back, and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We loved it! I don't eat meat and they made us a veggie burrito on the spot and it was awesome.

Amazing food..... I suggest trying the birria
Amazing price..... Think we got 6 tacos at $2.50 per, and rice/beans for about 5 or 6 bucks.

The food is excellent and is as close to my grandma's cooking as I've had from a Mexican restaurant. Great Mexican food at a very fair price. If you seek authentic Mexican food, this is your spot. Although the atmosphere is not fancy, it is clean. The lady behind the counter reminds me of my grandma. I highly recommend you stop here for a taste of Mexico.

Fresh and delicious food! I highly recommend
I came in to try this place and it’s not bad. Food was tasty . I had 3 Tacos steak asada, Langua beef tongue, and chicken all good. They had Horchata, Tamarindo, and bottled sodas too. I ate a side of beans and rice which tasted a bit older like it wasn’t fresh . But still edible. The woman serving was nice spoke English / Spanish . They also have a condiment bar where u serve ur own salsas green, red, guacamole , cilantro, tomato’s/ onions and cut up limes . All very Tasty!

Some of the best Mexican food we have ever had. We were driving through on our way to Park City and we stopped in because of the good reviews. Everything is fresh daily. We can’t wait to come back and order catering from them. 10/10!!

This is one of the best small businesses I have been to in Utah.
And the best Mexican food I have had in the state. It’s a small family owned spot. They cook different food everyday day and this is definitely the spot for authentic Mexican food.
Best Horchata I have ever had and I grew up around San Diego.

This place is SO tasty! My favorite thing to get is the shredded beef tostada. The tortilla is crispy and the shredded beef is tender and flavorful. The people who work here are so kind and very helpful! The service and the food are both incredible! I recommend this to ANYONE and EVERYONE! Thanks for delicious food so close to home, El Patron!

Came kind of close towards closing on a Tuesday, so their options were limited. I was hoping to try their Ended up getting two carnitas tacos and 2 steak ranchero. The meat was super tender and very flavorful. Best tacos I've had in Ogden, and on top of that they are super affordable. Definitely will be back many a Tuesday going forward

Have you ever taken a bite of something and just knew it was going to make you sick? That’s what happened here. We used to LOVE this place. 8 years ago I would have recommended this place to everyone. Not sure if ownership has changed or if it is something completely different but it is just gross now.
We went in December 2024 and NONE of the food was being stored in a way that would keep away bacteria. We ordered tacos and a chile relleno plate. The taco meat was rancid. The pico was frozen. The salsas were sour as if they were made 4 days ago. The Chile relleno seemed like it had been frozen, defrosted to display in their heat box for the day, re-frozen and re-defrosted for who knows how many days. The oil used for the chile relleno must have been super old and dirty because it literally left the most foul taste in your mouth that wouldn’t go away even after brushing and using mouth wash multiple times. I understand wanting to save money and not knowing the amount of traffic you get each day to prepare food but this is not the right way to do it. A chile relleno doesn’t take much time to make fresh so I don’t get why they had so much food already prepared and sitting in a hot box to become rancid and make your customers sick. After just a bite, we both knew and threw it out. This was 3 days ago and I still feel sick.
Great service, great food.
Hands down best mexican food in town. Variety of dishes and drinks. Large portions for the price.
