We had a server, and his name was Scott, he is a must to ask for. Our drinks never were empty and was there to provide for all of our needs, even for entertainment lol. He just made you feel right at home.
Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian dishes on the menu, such as the Ahhh.. Vocado sand and the Garden Burger
Dietary restrictions: Gl free items are highlighted in green and they have gluten free flatbread made out of sweet potatoes so it doesn't taste like cardboard

This is one of my favorite places to meet up with friends and family for lunch. Very intimate place to go and catch up with people you haven't seen for a while. The service and food are delicious. The gift shop is unique and fun to shop through. The gift shop is a little pricey, but they sell one of a kind and unique items, so it makes sense. Highly recommend this place for lunch and shopping. I have always had an amazing experience with family and friends .

Loved the place. Cute gift shop to enjoy while waiting for a table. Lovely setting at the mouth of Ogden canyon with some outdoor seating. Super attentive waitress Hannah. Can't tell you how welcome she made us feel.

Quite a eclectic gift shop, you could spend a lot of time looking around. The venue is comparable to higher end restaurants need to try the Mormon muffins and honey butter with raspberry! (Awesome)
Kid-friendliness: Well the kids probably like the gift shop most of all! rare candy's among other stuff. My daughter had chicken strips and finished them. And the Mormon muffins also!

tl;dr: food is perfect, front of house is lovely and deserved 4 stars, waiter was literally mean to every table around us
Came in today with friends who have been wanting to take me to the cafe for months. It's a staple in their family, so I was excited to experience it with them. The food was phenomenal, and even the side of fries that came with my turkey bacon on a ciabatta roll was honestly stellar. The entire plate was delicious, and everything I tried from my friends' plates was nothing short of incredible. Every bite was phenomenal. As far as a good brunch/lunch place, this is a favorite, for sure.
However, the service from the waiter was ATROCIOUS. I'm not someone who demands more than the minimum of service from waiters or other service professionals. They have bigger fish to fry, and I try really hard to be as simple for them as possible. A waiter can literally take my order, deliver it, and never check in on me, and I'd be golden. Front of house was perfectly pleasant. Host who sat us was informative and friendly, the cashier was patient and really nice! But the waiter didn't listen, interrupted me with a very rude NO as I was asking my single question of if there was Coke Zero or just Diet Coke, literally only looked at one person in our party in the eye, threw our straws down on the table, had the most impatient tone when we were just trying to submit our orders, and literally sounded like he hated us, like there was somesort of blood feud between us in the 30 seconds he spent at our table rushing us to order.
My friend suggested maybe he was having a bad day, but he came directly behind me to greet the table at my back, immeditely asked the table within a second of greeting them if they were ready to order (they were not), and then stomped off. So it wasn't necessarily just us, he just had big feelings today. I just don't see why the customers had to deal with it. He literally could have not said a word to me and I would have been pleased with his service, but the unwelcoming attitude that i witnessed to all the tables aroundus was just really over the top.
Dietary restrictions: There are gluten-free options for sandwiches, but dont expect Keto options.

The food is never very good. I've eaten there 6 times in the last 7 years and I'm always disappointed in the flavor. I don't know if the recipies are lousy or the cooks are bad! Maybe both...However, it is restaurant is cute and the huge gift shop is so well stocked with a wonderful variety of unusual things. It is worth the trip just for the gift shop. But I recommend eating somewhere else.

Driving cross-country, I made a special detour because the salad bar looked good on the Greenery's website. It was very disapponting - they only had an iceberg lettuce mix; very few other items; and at a very high price, only one trip to the salad bar was allowed. On the other hand, my server was great, and brought me a great hot fudge sundae for dessert. The restaurant was located in a sort of little mall with stuff for sale that was of no interest to me, but there was also a wonderful quilt shop in the same location that is worth a visit.

We went to the Greenery Restaurant last night for a girl's night, something we've done as a family for the past 55 years. Our tradition has always been to eat, walk around, and then return for dessert.
Last night, however, our experience was disappointing. After placing our order, we decided to add muffins, but our waitress seemed annoyed. This was surprising since we hadn’t received our food yet, but she had already printed our checks just five minutes after we ordered. What if we wanted to add something else?
When we left at 7:10 PM, we informed our waitress that we would return for dessert after we shopped. We came back at 8:00 PM, but Brittney told us she couldn't seat us, despite the fact we only wanted dessert. She explained that they wouldn’t be able to take our orders and clean up by 8:30 PM when they close. I always thought closing time referred to when seating stops, not when staff goes home.
To make matters worse, she claimed that dessert is the hardest thing to prepare and, since there were 15 of us, she refused to seat us. We had already spent $500 on dinner, yet she still wouldn’t accommodate us for dessert. As we were leaving, we noticed her seating other people.
Overall, we were very disappointed with the service we received last night

We have been coming to the greenery for 55 years. We eat dinner. We go shopping and we come back for dessert. We came back for dessert tonight. And Britney told us that they do not serve people because they can't do all the dishes and everything before 8:30 when they close. We were there by 8 o'clock, and they would not servicec us. There was fourteen of us, so obviously that isn't enough money for them to stay later. Since we spent $500.00 for dinner and we were also told it was very inconvenient to use the muffin coupons. You might get more customers if you got rid of Britney because obviously she is sending away customers and laughing about it. Cause we watched her in the back and laughing.I always thought the closing time was the time they close but it's the time they leave.
