Mormon Muffins. Next to my steak night at The Rainbow Saloon, picking up a dozen muffins is my go to every time I'm in town the past 17 years. Enjoying my last one I flew home with yesterday. Years back I asked for the recipe and a waitress wrote it down for me on a table check and even when I make them at home, they're still not the same. Don't forget the honey butter.

Mormon muffins were the best and they have a large menu! My in-laws love this place and the staff made you feel like family. Closes early so you’ll need to eat a light lunch and plan something for after. Salad bar had a lot and decor made it seem like we were eating at a place from 50 years ago.

What a cute restaurant. The menu and drink options are great. I had the Ahh-Vocado sandwich that came with chips and watermelon. The sandwich was huge and very tasty. Waiter and register staff were very friendly. I gave atmosphere 3 stars because the restaurant and entire building needs attention. Needs a deep cleaning and a huge face-lift.

It was still much the same, though I haven't eaten here in probably 10 years. The waiters were good and attentive, all good there. The atmosphere seemed dated. But mostly, the prices have been raised a LOT! The portions were much smaller than I remember them. The Carmel apple pie was still the best anywhere!

Beautiful location, food was good, building is older but has old time charm Service was awful, with one person spoiling the evening. I filled out a comment card and the management contacted me to apologize with a $10 gift card! Classy move showing they do care about their customers.

Had a late lunch due to checking into the Alaskan Inn. Whimsical place and very busy. My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had the Crab Louis salad. Our lunch was really good.

My wife's family loves this place. The food is good, I wouldn't say great except for the Mormon Muffins. I could eat Mormon Muffins all day. That first initial taste when a Mormon muffin touches your lips. If you're going to eat a muffin, it should be a Mormon one.

Great muffins. Hand made meals gets busy worth the wait. Cheesecake is handmade and the best in ogdenVegetarian options: Good salad bar. Glutten free options. Lots of non-meat mealsParking: Great view. Trail head access. Great across from dino park. Mouth of Ogden canyon and river runs by it. Plenty of parking with shade

We really enjoyed our lunch. The burger and the soup for the kids was delicious. Also the fresh salad from the salad bar was wonderful. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. We certainly return and recommend the famous Mormon muffins.

I had the chicken Alfredo and my grandma got the small crab salad. She really enjoyed her salad and I loved my Alfredo. The sauce was flavorful and a good consistency. Not too thick or thin. The Kona beer was delicious as well. You can’t go wrong coming here. The mormon muffins are to die for with the honey butter. All in all Great service, delicious food, & lots of shopping after with all the neat things they sell. 10/10 I will forever come here.

Salad bar was very sparse. Only had iceberg lettuce with very few toppings. Definitely should not be called a salad bar or charging $ 13.00. Wilted sprouts on the turkey sandwich. Very dry Morman muffin.

If you want to get some fresh air and soak up some Ogden history, then you must check this place out. The bldg itself has been there since the late 1800s, and it's a locals' favorite place to go and walk the river walkway or hike up the mountain to the waterfall. The restaurant itself is popular with our retired folks for lunch. Good food with an excellent view of the mountains. The gift shop is the largest in the west and is absolutely amazing. I always order the Pancho Villa and get the salad bar. PS. TRY the Mormon Muffins Enjoy !!!

My daughter and I hadn't been here for at least fifteen years. We remembered our favorites so re-ordered them. My daughter's "Chili Willy" was good but in the past, the meat was char-grilled and quite tasty. It was "find" but not the memorable dish she remembered. Unfortunately, my $14.19 "Thomas Divan" was terrible. In the past, it was prepared with a slice of real turkey with nice pieces of broccoli and topped with a cheesy sauce. What I got was two thin pieces of fake deli turkey, some barely-warmed cheap frozen chopped broccoli pieces, and a cheese sauce overpowered with mustard. For $14.19, I could have had a high-quality lunch nearly anywhere else in town. The best part of the disk was the grapes for garnish. This place is "coasting". The decor hasn't changed in years so it's not like they're spending a lot of money on it.

One of my favorite places to go, the food is amazing (especially the clam chowder, I always buy a quart of that to go). And the decor is super cute, the staff is always friendly as well!
