I had the breakfast scramble and my wife had a salad and tomato soup. The food was amazing and came out very quickly. This will definitely be one of our favorites when we dine on 25th street.

My favorite spot in Ogden! The food is unique and amazing every time, the staff is always friendly, helpful, and un-rushed. I love the overall vibe of the place, has a very chic, comfy, small-town feel. You really must try the O-Town toast and The Merc herbal tea!

Also, tons of gluten-free options including bakery items! And the gf bread they use is incredible. Just let the staff know of your dietary restrictions and they will take good care of you.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for dietary restrictions including gluten free. They can sub gf bread (it's super good!) For any toast or sandwich and are careful with cross contact.

Only time here I got biscuits and gravy I didn’t like that they salted your food without asking you. Shouldn’t be just added it was to much and I couldn’t eat it.

businesses especially restaurants. I would recommend never visiting The Mercantile on 25th St, ever. Service was extremely poor from hostess to waitress. The menu is totally lacking any variety and for what you get it’s unbelievably expensive! Let’s start with the coffee a never before watered down cup has ever been poured, seriously I had to go down the street to get a real cup after I ate! Before sugar it tasted like HOT water, after sugar it was just sweet. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese but the cheese was forgotten, these were not real eggs but powdered eggs! And had no flavor at all except the catsup I put on them. I travelled with my backpack so I’m sure they assumed I was homeless and treated me like I had some disease. So no water was offered or served, 2 horrible cups of coffee $3.49 and last but certainly not least the nasty powdered eggs $3.99. There are many worthy places to eat in Ogden The Mercantile is not one of them. No tip as i don’t reward bad service and especially not nasty food.

Quite possibly the best breakfast burrito in Ogden - pay extra to add sausage! The folks that work here have exceptional demeanor - very refreshing.

This is such a gorgeous little art deco treasure that we all need to support and make sure it does well and never leaves us. Im so excited and happy to have this in our little town. Top 3 breakfasts I've had in my life. Salmon toast is so delicious. Every single bite was scrumptious and thank you chef for the perfect sprinke of salt and pepper. Sounds simple but so perfect. I went today and whoever your crew was October 15th so brilliant. Food and customer service were brilliant perfect and just the best. I usually go to Salt Lake for good brunch and now i have somewhere 5 blocks from my house. Highly highly recommend and the deco bathrooms are beautiful, the interior is beautiful, love it I will be back weekly!

My husband and I went in before closing, purchased a carrot cake. For the price we paid for was not worth it. It was pure sugar! It was so sweet we couldn't eat it. It didn't taste at all like carrot cake. The cake was heavy and we couldn't taste the cream cheese in the icing. The young kid that served us was very amiable and professional. We will not return.

This place feels like it should be in some big city in Europe, it’s so cute and interesting and such a cool old building. I really like the patio, but the atmosphere inside is so unique and comfortable. Great coffee and food, and great service.
