The nigiri sampler is really good but the cherry blossom roll was an abomination to sushi lovers world wide. Way too much spicy mayo on the roll. I will also compliment the sashimi plates like the Machi. I felt like I could probably go with 4 stars but as a sushi lover I couldn’t get myself to do it. It’s definitely better than shitty sushi places. I had to wait about 40 minutes from the time I was seated at the bar to getting ALL THREE my dishes handed to me at once.

This was a good. Food quality was great service wa good. Atmosphere was tough. Lot of guest founded up try to talk over others. However, this place was awesome for the price. Food was great too.

Best sushi in Utah!! The atmosphere is awesome, the building is charming, and the service is great. Best of all? The taste of their rolls. For being an inland state, the sushi here at Tona is extremely great, and in my opinion it even compares to the sushi I had in Florida.

One of my favorite restaurants in UTAH. Highly recommend to any sushi lovers. I come here fairly often especially before an Ogden twilight concert. I absolutely adore their back rooms ( perfect for a date )

By far the best local sushi spot in Davis/Weber county!! From the appetizers, rolls, desserts and extras! Very flavorful! It’s always great service! You’re lucky if you get CINDY, she’s the one of the best!! Make sure you take the time and stop to and grab a bite to eat you will not regret it!!

I'm going to say that the service was extra fabulous! Her name is Jaycee and she's out of this world! She pulled her phone out and showed us dining options as the menu lacks photos. She explained what was the different rolls were, she kept the drinks coming, and she is friendly, personable, and professional. The atmosphere was very appropriate for the meal; however, if you're treating grandma, you might want to bring a cushion. The food, we ate it all. 😋

One of the top sushi spots in Ogden. My go to favorite over the years. Proper sized rolls and cuts of fish- not the oversized American everything-is-futomaki approach often found in Utah sushi spots. Excellent friendly staff and good service.
We had a perfect birthday lunch!! Everything was delicious, fresh, and out in a timely manner. Our server, Cindy was adorable, patient, and incredibly helpful! She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I would especially recommend the “Pinky and the Green” roll and the “Surf and Turf” roll. Thanks Tona! ◡̈

When I first had to go gluten free one of the waitresses recommended I get the tuna tartare because it’s similar to the green globe and it was SO good. So here we are years later and I still order it, up until yesterday. I was told I can only order from the designated gluten free menu, which the tuna tartare is not on. To be honest the designated gluten free menu is not that great and not worth the price you pay. I really have no reason to go back.
