The food has gotten increasingly worse the past 3 or 4 times I've ordered. This time they put no strawberries on the strawberry Nutella waffle and didn't give me the tomato bisque with my grilled cheese.

My boyfriend and I went last summer for a waffle and they messed up his waffle, which was whatever we still ate it. this time I got a free waffle for my birthday and unfortunately they made my waffle undercooked so we couldn’t even really enjoy it. ):
(This is not a negative review, just disappointing)

Arrived to try Waffle Love in Ogden for the first time, 45 minutes before closing with no one waiting for food or placing an order, and the employee informed us they were about to close and couldn't take our order. Does it really take 45 minutes to make 4 Waffles?!!? Poor business practices if you ask me! We won't go back.
We went to waffle love in Ogden and we live about 20 minutes away, we got two waffles got home and started eating them and it ended up that there was hard old burnt crunchy stuff all over the waffles would of been ok if we could of taken them all off but it was under my wife's whip cream and under my glaze we thought that our teeth were breaking at first and it scared us. Honestly disappointed in you guys also her bananas tasted extremely old. We tried you guys a month ago and got a bad experience so we thought that we would try you guys again and got even more disappointed with this experience.

They locked the doors 30 min before closing time. I’m pretty sure there’s a law against that lol here’s your one star
I’m giving waffle love 5 stars because I think there are few things in this world as delightful as their waffles. I leave impressed with every bite. I do follow the same sentiment of the overall poor customer experience though. I believe that everyone can change and hope something about the environment can be adjusted so that the current staff starts to enjoy their work. If I was less enthusiastic about the waffles themselves I probably wouldn’t return, but I’m a sucker for them so I put up with the uncomfortableness. Instead of feeling like dining at a restaurant, Waffle Love feels more like showing up uninvited at my aunt’s house and asking her to make me waffles. Maybe it requires a more detached personality to whip up waffles this perfect, and if that’s what’s required don’t change a thing. I find myself wondering if I should be apologizing for the work I am putting them through after placing my order. Heck, I’d even offer to do my own dishes if it made me feel like I was mooching just a little bit less. In summary, I am grateful for the staff of Waffle Love, even if they aren’t quite as grateful for me. They make the best waffles this world has to offer and I tip my hat to that. I just hope there is a way they can find satisfaction in of their jobs. If they knew the joy they bring me with their perfectly made waffles I think they couldn’t help but be a little more happy about what they do.
I would find a different location. This is my second time eating at this restaurant. Visits were about 2.5 years apart. Both times, they were totally out of chicken, which is about half the menu.
The soda machine was out of order.. there wasn't even any music playing and the floor was really gross. There was ONE person working on a Saturday night, holiday weekend, and she said nothing to us. Literally not even "hello". She just stared at me until I ordered. That was so awkward. I watched other people get the same treatment as well. The waffles were under-cooked and soggy. Overall it felt run-down and neglected.

Not the best experience. This was our second time to this location and they were out of chicken both times. Chicken is on almost half of their menu items. We went at 5pm and they are open until 10 so it's not like we ordered right before they close. Their soda machine was also down. Only 1 employee working on a holiday weekend. Our waffles were a bit undercooked. The raspberries were soft and mushy. There was no music playing which also made the ambiance feel awkward. We love other locations we have been to but this one was a disappointment especially considering the prices and small serving sizes.

Been here twice in the past month. Both times the cashiers have been pissy and don’t say a single word except for “what’s your name?” No “hello”, no telling us the price, no “thanks we’ll have your food right out,” nothing. Then after waiting 15 minutes they slap a near raw egg on the waffle. We asked if they could cook the egg a little more and she just grabbed the egg with her hand and dropped it back on the grill. After that we just asked for a refund and left. Never going back there again.

Great place; got the Southwestern twice during a brief visit and it was perfect both times! My friends were also pleased with the chicken and waffles and banana cream that they got.
