I lived in Germany two years (guess why?) and have visited several towns in Germany since. Rimmels is accurately named 'Original German Döner'. I do love this place, I've been so many times. I typically do Berlin style with half 'Sose' (sauce). I love taking newbs who've never tried a döner. They always love the offerings here.

This is a great restaurant if you need that Doner fix but cannot find a decent place anywhere else. I'm more partial to a larger pita cut into quarters, but the small round buns work well enough. The meat is cut in very large pieces and collect right at the bottom. I recall the turkish Doner Ladens holding the pita on its side and placing meat on one the bottom side and the vegetables on top of the meat so that each bite has both meat and vegetables.
