I regret not taking pictures, as the food was so beautifully presented. The opening miso soup and Japanese salad were a refreshing start to our meal. My husband ordered the Shrimp Tempura and Sushi, which came with added tempura vegetables, in addition to some tempura shrimp, as well as a bowl of sticky rice. I ordered the Maki Sushi and it tasted amazing. 3 excellent rolls, all raw: California, Salmon, and Tuna! I was thrilled! I made sure to cleanse my palate between each one...
If I could give Yamato 10 stars, I would. This is honestly the best sushi in the area. My wife and I are regulars and we have never had a bad experience. The food is consistently incredible. Everything on their menu hits, not a single bad item. If you haven’t tried Yamato, you haven’t lived…like actually! BEST RESTAURANT LITERALLY EVER!
I normally don’t rate, but I loved the food and portions, and we didn’t have to wait long. Best of all it’s at a price that isn’t going to hurt your wallet! The hostess was so gracious and sweet, as were all the other workers, I felt genuinely like they were happy to have me eat their food! Please give them support and love, their restaurant is worth it :)
