The location, ambiance and staff are all very nice. The food palate and quality needs a refresh. On the upside, the place has great potential. If they updated the menu with better flavor profiles and used higher quality ingredients, even if it cost more, would be great update in my opinion

It's probably our favorite restaurant in Park City. Yes, it's been there forever and, yes, the menu doesn't change much. But it's consistently good and the chef himself acts as the expediter, checking every dish before it leaves the kitchen. Don't miss the churros stuffed with cream with the chocolate dipping sauce for desert!

Amazing restaurant in Park City. Took my wife here on her birthday and was blown away! The food was incredible, the ambiance perfect, and the service was great. We had a wonderful time and she was so happy we dinned here for her special day. Highly recommend!

Our third visit to Chimayo. We have visited every time we are in Park City over many years. Food was very good but a few misses were all the pomegranate seeds and pepites on the wonderful butternut soup. Perhaps they could be on the side to add if desired. Also Mushroom taco were very good but tough ancho pepper skins were inedible. Again could those be eliminated? Loved apple salad, and pork riblets were phenomenal! Our server Jarod was the best!

Lovely dinner for 9 people. Margs & wine enjoyed. Apps delicious - build your nacho, mussels, cheese, ceviche. Many ordered the sirloin or short rib and the presentation was amazing. Don't sit on the trout fajitas - delicious! Too full for dessert, will def return when in the area.

The greeting when we arrived at Chimayo was odd and unpleasant. The hostess was not initially at the hostess stand when we arrived. When she did arrive she had food in her mouth, mumbled when she spoke (perhaps because of the food; twice I had to ask her to repeat herself), and she wouldn't look at us. She walked us to our table downstairs as if we were somehow imposing on her. The reception could not have been more unwelcoming. Fortunately, our waiter was great, as were the margaritas. And the food was exceptional. One of the best meals we've had in recent memory. Highly creative and tasty southwestern style cuisine. I highly recommend Chimayo, but encourage the owners to replace whoever was our hostess.

We've eaten here numerous times and it never disappoints! Food is amazing, service is always exceptional and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Already looking forward to our next visit with guests that will be in town!

We had a fun family dinner and ordered more delicious food than we could finish. We had appetizers of the hot queso fundido that comes in a cute crock on a sterno, refreshing shrimp ceviche, the yummy tuna tartare and beet salad. Only the beet salad was a bit small and disappointing compared to the rest. Our entrees were all large portions. All amazingly delicious. And attractive on the plate. We had duck enchiladas, scallops, beautiful trout fajitas and the tower of barbecued spareribs. We had to take food home as there was so much! Service was friendly and efficient. We will certainly return.
