This review is specifically for the gelato! Our group came just for the gelato after we had dinner elsewhere. We tried the nutella and coconut flavors. Everyone was pretty happy with the gelato but we all thought the prices were high for Kimball Junction (not Park City Main St.). The higher prices accounted for half a star off, and the other half a star was due to service. It felt like the one person manning the register was also manning the gelato service and she was extremely overwhelmed. It took a while to get us the gelato and there were some mix-ups regarding who got what. It was not her fault, but I feel like there should have been someone else there to help her. Nonetheless, it was a good experience and the restaurant looked nice-- my boyfriend and I will probably be back to try their full dinner menu (and get gelato again)!

This is the best Italian in Park City. Veal Piccata and pasta is so good. Nice work!

Cortona what happened?? Last time was so much better. Out of 4 dishes one was very good. The others not so much. The red sauce on the meatball had a strange after taste same with the fettuccine and meatball. Appetizers were decent. I asked waitress to clear table after dishes sat before we ordered dessert and she was rude. She said she can multi task because she is from Argentina. Bye bye Cortona.

My wife and our 25 year old daughter and boyfriend ate here on our way to Park City and were a little concerned with being in a mall. The atmosphere isn't high end, but from the appetizers to the desserts, everything was absolutely fabulous! Mussels, Lasagna, Fettuccini, Gnocchi, Shrimp Arrabbiata, Gelato, and Cannoli were incredible. Then to top it off, the service was fantastic and the owner working her tail off with her baby daughter in tow was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!!!

An amazing culinary experience! Almost don’t want to post for fear we will never get a reservation. All joking aside, amazing dining experience! Service on point! Love that there’s an added dinning space. The menu is perfectly constructed. Dishes made daily with freshly made pasta. Perfectly seasoned!! Plan to keep this gem on repeat for guests that visit us.. not to mention a casual evening dinning experience. (Hopefully we can still make a reservation)

Very odd place, never got to order food as the place was not busy but no one acknowledged us to get a seat, after 5 mins we left. I don’t understand the blackout atmosphere, no sign saying there open. Two employees say us standing there too.

Arrived on a busy Saturday night. Table for 2. We were seated in a transitional area that was busy of employees passing by. Disappointed at first of this location but quickly realized thus little island was void of the chaos of the rest of the restaurant and we were all set to talk at a normal level. We had the meatball app and eggplant as well. Meatball was so tender. Eggplant full of flavor. Entrees included the sausage and gorgonzola. Sausage had a little spice on the finish. Really good. Too many walnut halves in the sauce. Suggest to just top the dish with smaller pieces. I had the special of the braised short rib with rigatoni. Just the right amount of sauce. You could taste the braise and wine reduction in the beef. Finished the meal with gelato. I would return without hesitation. Hop the owner is friendly and can be seen conversing with his guests. Attentive to his restaurant operation. Always on the move. Staff was very friendly and hard working. All happy patrons with smiles as they depart. Thanks Hop for making our anniversary dinner on our little island location. Juan and his bussers, thank you as well. See you again.

Amazing food and customer service! We will be thinking about this food when we get back from vacation. The gnocchi was phenomenal. My boyfriend got the spicy shrimp pasta which was also very good. For dessert we got their gelato - our favorite was the pistachio! Reminded us of our trip to Italy a few years back. Definitely will be coming back!

The fettuccine and meatball dish was good. The fresh bread and olive oil was delicious. Friendly service. I would sit in the main dining room next time where it's not so exposed to the front door and the gelato counter.

Chicken Parmesan was very dry! Not a good value at all. NOT RECOMMENDED. Crazy that this and a cannoli + gratuity was almost $50.

We ordered a couple of coffees, fair to say they were the most awful latte I have ever had and seen. They had a problem with the machine which might explain part of it but they did not do or say anything about it…

This is a very authentic, tiny little Italian restaurant in Park City. It is a local favorite, but make sure to get reservations as there is limited seating even in the off season. You'll be rewarded the fresh Italian dishes that are well prepared. Probably the best Italian restaurant in Park

I'm reticent to write another good review because this is a beloved local spot and we don't want the word to get out. However, they deserve the praise. Cortona used to be about 6 tables before they took over the space next door and expanded. It still has that small, intimate feel...it reminds me of some of the restaurants in the North End of Boston (if you know you know). The food is so clearly and carefully crafted. Everything is scratch made...fresh and delicious. I'm particularly fond of the gnocchi and the shrimp arrabbiata. They recently started to offer pizza and it is hands down the best pizza in summit county.

The food was good but the service was atrocious. We ordered 2 vodka martinis with a twist. Waited more than 30 minutes to get to lemon drops. I took them back to the bar and waited another 15 minutes for 1/2 a martini. One of the worst dinning experiences of my life.
