Beautiful space and friendly staff. Cocktails and wine list were A1. Food was mostly great - my companions loved all their food, but my entree (gnocchi & grilled chicken) was bland and several elements were either under or overcooked. Apps and deserts were hits across the board.

I only ate here in the morning, for the breakfast buffet. Three mornings in a row and it was always very good.

Lackluster experience. Was hoping it would be worth the hype but sadly not. The dome was chilly even with the heat turned up and with the constant opening and closing of the door, the minimal heat literally just went back out the window. The views were minimal as it was dark outside aside from the lights on the mountain etc. The food was probably the most disappointing. We had a super sweet waitress, Kate, who was lovely but she couldn’t make up for the food. Started with tuna salad, lobster caviar, and a cod that was overly fishy to the point that you could smell it. Of the three appetizers, none of them worked or had good flavor. Pretty much non edible. The lobster caviar was best out of the three but lacked both freshness and flavor/seasoning. Main courses were gnocchi, which was overly salted, and a filet that was simply average. Our bill came out to nearly 600.00 without tip included. I never mind paying these kind of prices if the food is worth it but this place was a disappointing disaster. The pretzel and mustard for 7 bucks was probably the best thing we had to eat at the hotel there whole time we were there, not kidding. Save your money and spend it somewhere delicious. This experience truly isn’t it.

The menu and pairings of several appetizers and entrees were just not good. Their lobster and caviar or Hawaiian tuna appetizers were two of the worst things we ordered on our visit. One of our entrees was just bad (sole and shrimp) while the other two were just fair at best (tenderloin and elk). When we come out here and ski each year, we always try and make reservations at great restaurants because there are so many in the Park City area. This restaurant does not deserve to be mentioned. It does have a beautiful atmosphere and is the flagship restaurant of a very highly rated hotel, The Stein Eriksen Lodge, but that’s where it stops. It does have a nice wine list. However, its menu is limited and the food pairings were just not good. You would think with a smaller menu they would have perfected their recipes and anything would be great. Unfortunately, this was not the case. There are plenty of great restaurants in Park City, so don’t waste your money at Glitretind. This place has every advantage in terms of location and ambience to be a top-rated restaurant, but their food is simply not good. If I were the owner, I would find a new chef quickly if I wanted to remain relevant. We ate at Grappa our first night and Riverhorse on Main after that and they were truly exceptional. Glitretind was a waste of money and probably wouldn’t appear in Google searches for great restaurants if not for its location.

The Sunday Brunch doesn’t have many vegan options. Two salads and an assorted fruits. Even items such as green bean, that could’ve easily been vegan, had bacon bits on them. I wish they would provide more options on the buffet line for vegans.
The service was excellent, and we were able to have a veganized avocado toast prepared (on their breakfast but not brunch menu) and vegan desserts prepared. The food we were able to eat was delicious. We truly appreciated their efforts to accommodate us, I just hope they can add vegan options to the buffet line itself.

We ate dinner there last night and everyone from the party that had the chicken had food poisoning. I called to let them know and they didn’t really say much.

Love the brunch here. Been here many many times. Pricey but worth the food/service and location. Usually combine it with hike in the mountains. One of the best waffles I have eaten are here.

Very nice restaurant in a nice hotel. We were staying at the Waldorf Astoria but heard great things about this restaurant on TripAdvisor. The setting is romantic. They have outdoor igloo tables for $300 if you prefer to eat outside. We were inside where it was warm. Onto the food. The lobster bisque at $22 was surprisingly small. Great quality lobster pieces. The soup was great as well just not a lot. The veal was cooked perfectly and it was very tender. Medium rare was opted for and it was a good choice. Not over cooked. One of the better pieces of meat that I’ve found in a long time. You could cut it with your fork. The filet was tender but a tad over cooked. We’d recommend asking for medium rare to get a medium center. Dessert, we highly recommend the banana split. It’s not what you think. See photo. The bananas are like a banana foster. The chocolate dome is great with delicious mouse like filling. All editable. Sharing desserts is a great idea.Best pick restaurant in the area. This would make for a great place to eat when it is snowing out. We are here when it was in May. Do enjoy this place!
