Melissa was our waitress and she was exceptional. My wife order a chicken dish which she said was very good, and the Harvest Grain Salad (also good). I ordered the filet, which wasn't bad, but certainly not exceptional. I also had the French onion soup, which was not the best. The noise level was a bit too high for our liking.
We enjoyed good service here. The food was ample with some dishes were well executed and a few were a miss.
We had a great family meal while on a ski trip. Menu and food were very good. Kids menu was pretty weak.
Our server Max is outstanding. He surprised me with his level of professionalism at such a young age.
Bison ribeye was truly extraordinary. Cocktails were solid. We were tucked back looking over Main Street. One large group had two really loud kids that would have been very irritating if we had been closer.
I knew it was going to ge good when the salads we ordered were over the top. I had the endive salad with honey crisp apples, chicory and nuts and my husband had the arugula/spinach salad which had these blue cheese balls that looked like croutons. He gave me a taste and they were torched with a sweet crust on top like crème brouillet! Absolutely delicious!
Really liked Pine Cone Ridge. Very cute inside but extremely loud. Service was great. Food was yummy except our scallops were a just warm not hot. Pretty expensive
The dining room at Pine Cone Ridge is stylishly furnished. Unfortunately the level of detail did not extend to the dishes which lack sophistication given the high price point. The restaurant can get very noisy so it is difficult to have a conversation.
This was our second dinner at a Bill White restaurant, and both times were 10/10. From the Night Shift cocktail to the bison ribeye the experience was great. Our server, Kaitlin, was awesome. It's expensive, but not too bad for a ski town dinner.
Had the Prix Fixe for Sundance. The hostess was very nice as was our waiter. It was noisy. The food was not very good. The spare rib appetizer was cooked well but really needed the honey mustard sauce. Tempura mushrooms were tasteless and heavy. Winter salad was mediocre. Bison was all gristle and super chewy despite ordering medium rare. It was bland despite the generous amount of steak sauce and it was hardly palatable. The sea bass had good flavor but the fish did not flake as expected. Filet mignon had mixed reviews.
Restaurantji Recommends
This is one of my favorite PC restaurants the food and service is great. I didn't appreciate the value of their Sundance menu. It felt like we each had a $20 up charge to the regular menu prices with no added benefit. If they had included the house bread that may have closed the value gap.
We had Kaitlin as our server and our entire table was so impressed with her excellent service. Would ask for her any time and will come back again.
