We have enjoyed Shabu on numerous occasions. My daughter was in park city visiting us at our home and requested dinner at Shabu. The sushi my daughter had was very disappointing.

It is a small bar type restaurant down some stairs off of Main St. It was very crowded, very loud, and very busy. The service was ok, but it was hard to hear. The food was very good, but also very expensive. I guess typical for Park City Main St. They had some good varieties on the menu to try. The sushi was good.

Date night .. it's our new favorite spot. So much better than what some consider the best sushi places in town. Not pretentious, the food was fantastic, the service was solid. The noise level was super high - but that's not a complaint. It felt alive - this restaurant is what I've been missing about living here. I cannot believe that we waited more than six years to find our way in.. we won't repeat that mistake.

Never again! We used to love this restaurant. The food now is ridiculously expensive and the serving size is less than half of what it used to be. The service was terrible, the server never checked on us and the bill was completely wrong. It's a total tourist restaurant now, and they just don't care. So bummed.

Shabu is SHABULOUS!! The vibe is always playful and cool ! The servers and Ami the manager are a notch above and always work hard to make us feel welcome and a bit spoiled. We love the food and appreciate the variety offered. This restaurant is always the #1 requested place to dine by all of our friends and family who visit us in Park City!

Shabu is absolutely our favorite restaurant in the Park city area by far. We have dinner there every time we visit our vacation home in the area. We've recommended Shabu to all of our family and friends who have visited, and everyone has loved it. The food and service is always great and very consistent. They are very accommodating for families as well. Our four and six-year-old love steak on the hot rock and the blistered green beans. My husband and I also order the black cod, duck confit fried rice and yellow tail among many other stellar dishes. Oh and if you're into warm sake on a winter night, try the “Purple Haze”!

Overall it was good. The food was a little on the salty side, and came in fairly small portions for Asian cuisine . Service seemed somewhat dismissive, but we will probably return.

We did NOT appreciate our seat placement in middle of room, or which is usually one long connected table for large groups. I kept saying this was like an airline seat eating amongst your row. Despite our having a long time reservation, there were 2 seats that remained available our entire stay as well as TWO high top tables in the bar. Shabu has been our long standing favorite restaurant since the middle 2000s when we began here. Such a disappointment not to be able to talk to my out of town friend whom I only occasionally get to see.
