I read many of the reviews, the good ones and the not so good ones. I’m one of those who likes to make up my own mind, and have reviewed hundreds of restaurants around the country, this is something I like to do. I can say, without reservation, that this was a top 5 experience for me and my wife. Folks, please level set expectations. A fine dining experience like this comes with managed expectations: they are busy, they are hustling and bustling, they may take a few minutes to greet you and seat you, and they do so pleasantly and professionally. The service is outstanding, the atmosphere and ambience is excellent, and the food exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the roasted duck egg rolls for starters, as well as the roasted pear salad. My wife had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Elk chop, also cooked to perfection. Both were savory and filling. As with any fine dining experience, expect to pay a premium for this dining experience. Bravo!

Host and waiter are nice but we did not like any dish we ordered. I had one bite of the trout. Crabcake was overwhelmed by the diced carrots and not do fresh greens on the side. Ribs my friend ordered was super sweet. Lamb chops were also very sweet although very tender. Nothing special about any of the drinks either.

What a major disaster. On top of it this place put us on open table saying we "canceled" making it so we couldn't write a review on open table (they knew we were disappointed). I'll put a picture of my statement to show our meal. Anyone looking for a decent restaurant experience go somewhere else. The one positive was the host she was very sweet. What a waste of a night out. The place should be completely redone.

Wow! The service at Mustang restaurant in Park City is top-notch. The servers Nic and Tray were attentive, and friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was perfect. I highly recommend this place for not only the delicious food but also for the outstanding service!

Our large group had an amazing experience at the Mustang! Nic, Jen and co. all treated us amazingly - excellent food and excellent service!! We can't wait to return when we come back to Park City!

We ate here over the summer and had a great experience. We returned this winter and the food was very good, but the overall price was not in line with the experience. It's more a 3.5 star experience, rather than a 5, or even a 4. Lower the price or up the experience. Don't think I will go back.

Mustang was outstanding. Everything about it was outstanding. Nic our waiter was terrific, cocktails were terrific. The duck eggrolls were excellent. The elk chop was the best I've ever had, and the Chocolate soufflé was a don't miss. Mustang is a best in class dining experience!

Nic provided us with an exceptional experience at The Mustang. The ambience met all expectations for a special birthday dinner. The elk was one of our favorite dishes, it had tons of savory and sweet flavors popping through that made our eyes light up with every bite. Overall the food good, the service was great, and the experience was exceptional.

Atmosphere and service were great. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. But unfortunately, the quality and presentation of the food was not nearly worth the price. would go back for a glass of wine, but dinner is skippable.

Had dinner at mustang on Friday evening with family. Aside from the food being more than spectacular, the service was impeccable with “Nic” providing a great dinner! It was a 9.5/10 in my opinion. Def worth a try!

Our family finished skiing and couldn't get reservations anywhere on thursday evening. Went to open table to see what was available. Mustang had openings. We assumed it would be not the best Park City had but was ok having a decent meal as I'm not a picky eater. Takes a lot for me to send something back. We've never been and knew nothing about it other than had a decent Yelp Rating. Went it and decor and everything was average. Pretty cheesy to be honest and fairly empty during a crowded week. Menu looked ok but basic. Almost like a wedding menu. No prices on menu. Thought that was weird. Waitress came and told us we could choose 3 items and the price was fixed. We should've asked how much from the start. I ordered the Ribs, wife ordered the Filet and our son(age 12) ordered The rib eye...I think. He ordered some kind of steak with fries. This review stems from us not knowing the price. Here's why. Had we known it was $75.00 for a kids meal and $135 for our meals, I would've sent his meal back and mine as well. My wife's Filet was very good. but not worth $135. Even with the basic salad you could make for $4.00 it came with and we ordered one desert among the 3 of us. Even if we all ordered desert, there's no way you could charge more than $65.00. Our bill was $408 with out tip!!! Serious...you'd cry if you saw the food we got and tried to rationalize how any restaurant would give you a bill for $408. We didn't complain because, we should've asked how much, or they should've told us how much when we said, "we'd never been there, first time". That's on us.. for putting ourselves in that position to get ripped off. Which is why I've taken the time to write the review. To inform anyone reading this, to not go there until prices come way down. I had water and my wife had one glass of wine, my son had a rootbeer. At any fine dining restaurant with those prices, I would've sent his meal back. It was fatty and he had one bite. My ribs were ok but caked with BBQ sauce. I ate 3 ribs and gave him my ribs, he didn't like them either. His meal wasn't touched, My meal was half eaten, and we devoured the Filet which was very good. The salads were good, the fries were the same fried Disneyland serves..which I hate and the desert was barely eaten. Had I known the price, I would've sent the two meals back because when you charge that much, expectations should be higher. Since we didn't know...I put that on us. Our fault for being in that position and not asking how much. Now you know. Service: This has nothing to do with the people working there...they all were good, nice people that did a great job. The owner or who ever runs this place would do great at selling unwanted overpriced time shares to unsuspecting tourists not smart enough to ask how much. I should've stayed home bye the fireplace and ate a banana. It's been a long time since I've felt taken advantaged of.That's on us. But...next time we go to Park City I doubt I'll see Mustang Restaurant in that location. You can only give below average food at a price point like that for so long. The next night we ate at Handle and it was the best meal I've had in along time. That was 4 adults and we ordered and drank like Pirates and the bill was $427..and we ordered everything. It was worth every penny. The first night we ate at Fletchers and it was unbelievable how good it was and that bill was $177. If you can't get reservations anywhere but Mustang...stay home and make a bowl of cereal...you'll thank me for it.

My husband and I were hesitant to come here after reading some of the reviews, however, it far exceeded our expectations! Yes, it is expensive but for a 3 course meal…to be expected! Our food was absolutely amazing. The Bruchetta, Elk Chop, French onion chicken, bread pudding was chefs kiss. Our waiter was also so kind and we enjoyed talking to him! Being nice goes a long ways. Would come back!

Specialty cocktails are creative and delicious. The food is amazing. The vegetarian options, while not on the menu, are also fabulous. Be sure to ask if you have a vegetarian dining with you.
