Such a cool experience with a whiskey tasting! I’m not a huge whiskey fan, so I opted for wine, but the food was phenomenal. A must when in Park City!

An absolutely fantastic tasting menu experience! Hands down the best food we’ve had in Park City. The evening started off perfectly with a warm welcome and whiskey drinks by the fire pits, which set the mood for a memorable night. The team was incredible, including the manager who walked us through the meal, shared the history of the cottage, and introduced the Whiskey pairing experience. They also made thoughtful and patient modifications for my dietary restrictions, never making me feel awkward about it. We liked the whiskey cocktail so much that they even wrote down the recipe for us! We also enjoyed socializing with other guests before dinner, which made the night even more special. Overall, it was a flawless, unforgettable experience—highly recommended! We will definitely be booking again next time we’re in Park City.

An Unforgettable Anniversary Experience at Nelson Cottage! We recently celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Nelson Cottage in Park City, and it exceeded every expectation. The seasonal menu was nothing short of spectacular, with each dish perfectly crafted to highlight the finest ingredients of the season. The whiskey education was such a delight, adding depth to the evening as we learned about and savored some truly remarkable selections. Even archive selections!

The wait staff was top-tier—attentive without being intrusive, and their knowledge about both the menu and whiskey pairings enhanced our dining experience. The atmosphere was simply incredible, offering a cozy yet refined setting that was perfect for such a special occasion.

Nelson Cottage is more than just a restaurant—it's an experience. We highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining adventure in Park City. Can't wait to find an excuse to return!

Finally took a visit to The Nelson Cottage and was so impressed. While we waited on the porch we were served welcome cocktails and canapés. Then we were escorted by party inside to our tables. Inside you are sat in a rustic cottage, as the name describes. And it is warm and comfortable. You feel like you are dining with friends. Our “Whiskey Ambassador” was fantastic. She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about every single thing that came out of the kitchen or was poured into our glasses. She, as well as the rest of the service staff were on point.

We chose to add the whiskey pairing to our meal and we were thrilled we didn’t skip it. The meal would not have been the same without it.

They change the menu seasonally. And I can’t wait to get back in and see what they come up with next!

What an experience! Food was incredible.
Laura was an amazing wealth of whiskey knowledge and fun. Along with the whiskey pairing we tried some of Milanas handcrafted cocktails and they were some of the best I’ve ever had.

Very happy I found this place for our anniversary dinner. A unique experience where you're welcomed with complimentary cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while you wait to be seated. It's an intimate dining experience with only 9 or 10 tables and all courses are served together with all the guests.
The optional whiskey pairing is a must, in my opinion, with the great menu creations that change every two weeks to stay fresh to the season. My favorite was the red snapper.
A high recommendation, just be prepared to spend the money for a great experience.

If we could give 6 stars we would! The food, drink, and experience was out of this world!! We've been to dozens of pairings and this was the most exquisite we've been to. Love that they change their menu seasonally - we will come back next season and send our friends!! We were the only ones with reservations for the 8:30p dinner and when they called we thought they would cancel on us but they didn't! They kept ALL staff on and treated us like royalty with the restaurant all to ourselves! Top notch service!! Garrett was so friendly and accommodating and even gave us terrific recommendations for breakfast the next day! We never felt like a burden or bother as the only ones... He made us feel quite the opposite! We loved the romantic fire pit setting outside to start off the evening on a cozy and romantic note ?

Fantastic experience at the Nelson Cottage. Prix fixe dinner with whiskey pairings was beyond great. We got to try the barrel select American Prairie(finished in Rum barrels) and the Campfire (finished in Tokaj barrels). We also loved the Campfire (in Amaro barrels)and the Encore Dram (in White port barrels).Food was excellent, served family style, and well matched to the whiskey. The monkfish in banana leaves was the best I’ve had-like the best poached lobster ever. We cannot imagine anything but duck now with the campfire (though it went great with dessert as well).An intimate setting suitable for an anniversary or a night with friends. Glad we found this gem of park city.

An intimate atmosphere nestled just off historic Main Street in downtown Park City. This intimate setting has a prix fixe menu with whiskey pairing option (why would you say no?) and is worth the added cost to do it. The service was great, food was creative and delicious and the whiskey pairings were on point.Even those who habit the saloon should check out the Nelson Cottage for access to some of the rarer whiskeys and top culinary works.
