We came here for brunch for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was also our first time coming here. The food was absolutely delicious AND we got a free dessert for her birthday. Not only was it free, it was a delicious, house-made crème brûlée! We will definitely be coming back!
Every time we eat here I am pleased with my meal. But what I really like is the range of offerings, we have vegan friends and there are plenty of vegan options. You can have traditional breakfast items or salad or sandwiches; I really like that picky eaters (me) can be happy there. It's popular so reservations are a must. Yo can eat outdoors in an inner atrium or on the west side of the restaurant. Service is usually fine and if you have to wait The Golden Braid (a bookstore)...
Came here for lunch after visiting the Natural History Museum. Nice atmosphere, especially the outdoors area, which is shaded and decorated with plants. The food was average. Reasonably priced lunch-sized portions. The eggs benedict Florentine was a bit bland, including the potatoes, but the potatoes were not at all greasy which was great. The steak sandwich was also medium. I liked the salad that came with it because it had cranberries, grapes, and pecans.
