Ok, this place has the best carnitas tacos I've had ever and I grew up in California. That is all we come for when we go. My wife also loves the refried beans as well. Great people and we love the atmosphere.
This place is the REAL DEAL when it comes to authentic Mexican food. Waaaaaay better than other fancy “Mexican” food restaurants. This place is my go-to place to eat almost every time I go to Provo.
When I first started coming here the food was so good, but the quality has gone down significantly. I alway get the same thing the guaracha with birria they used to put a decent amount of bean lettuce and avocado. Today the flavor was lacking hardly any beans (my bf’s didn’t have any beans) the lettuce was sparing, and the avacado one tiny slice sliced in half not even an 1/8 if an avocado when they used to put at least a 1/3. I used to be able to take the last 1/4 to enjoy...
