Very slow to get food big weekend wrestling groups, big parties walking out hungry. Very disappointed. Tried calling management and was on hold for 15 minutes. Maybe get prepared for big crowds.

Maybe you guys should prepare when wrestling tournaments are in your town. Got told it was a 20 min wait. Yeah right, more like 45 mins and when we decided to leave found out people have been waiting for food for over 30 mins. That’s ridiculous

Went on Christmas eve. They closed early of course but the service was fabulous and so was the food. A lot of us regularly eat at Black Bear and have yet to be disappointed! The chicken fried steak is huge and delicious, taco salad, all the breakfast combinations and those sweet cream pancakes melt in your mouth.
Thanks to Black Bear for being a solid place where we can eat and usually have a great experience!

The Chrispen Team
This year we chose Black Bear diner in Buena Park for the location of our annual Chrispen Team Pumpkin Pie giveaway, and we couldn't have been more impressed.
The manager Isaid was amazing from the start helping me plan the event and order hundreds of pies. The large patio provided a private and cheerful atmosphere and was the perfect spot for the event. Carlos and the rest of the staff were amazingly attentive and handled everything we needed on the day of the event. All of our clients raved about how delicious the pies were and loved the convenient location. We can't wait to come back next year!

This Black Bear diner is a great place for good food. Our server this time was Nathan, who was fantastic -kind and attentive. We love coming to Black Bear!!
10 out of 10 do NOT recommend the north Little Rock location. Service was slow food was horrible. I didn’t even finish my food before I got sick because it’s an open view kitchen and the lady handling the food was messing with her hair and wiping her nose with the gloves she was touching peoples plates and food with. That is disgusting!!!!

I would like to give my honest feed back at the Hayward branch. Service is very good. My comment is more on the kitchen side. I ordered the new york steak meal. Caesar salad was not done properly, the salad is not well coated with sauce! i ordered steak which was supposedly medium, they gave me well done! I sent it back to the kitchen to get medium cooked one, received it well done again! I was so disappointed i just didn’t complain again. I just wish that the kitchen staff should pay more attention to what they do. Or they should be trained well on how to cook a steak! P.s i went there around 3-4pm which is not a busy time.

my mom loves black bear diner so we go to the Ogden one here and there. we always get Cassandra as our waitress and she is the absolute best. very attentive, sweet and quick. she cares about her customers and it shows.

Stopped at Wilsonville Oregon, Diner, Monday evening during dinner rush - James our waiter was very attentive and provided excellent suggestions. Best chicken pot pie I've eaten - plenty of chicken and vegetables. he warned me it might take extra time to cook. Our other plate was pot roast - ample serving. Was impressed by James ability to work with two elderly women who seemed to be mad at the entire world. Highly recommend BB Diner.
