Fun, fast, and tasty! The local vibe here is a welcome must-stop while traveling on I-70. They have a variety of food options along with the best homemade bagels 🥯! Do not leave without getting their ice cream. Yummy!
I have been coming to Ideal Dairy my entire life. Some of my earliest memories are of punch bags. If you go and can transport them home get a box, it is nice that they now have a 14 count box. If you are getting some ice cream, get the lemon custard or a strawberry shake. Will always be going back there.
We from out of town but recommend this place, The people were nice the food was good. Only the strawberry topping was a slightly fermented but we didn't hold that against them great place to eat.

The staff is super friendly, welcoming, polite, and helpful, and the place is clean and well-organized. It’s a one-of-a-kind spot with historic and family connections, great for kids with options like punch bags, cheese curds, and a wide variety of ice cream flavors, shakes, sundaes, or cones. While some feel the ice cream could be a little icy and prefer creamier versions, the fantastic service and variety of breads, meats, and homemade bagels make it a worthwhile dining experience. Late-night ice cream runs are a must for its killer price and delicious taste.
