We stopped in for dinner on Sunday evening. It was our first time dining at this location. Our experience was absolutely fantastic. Our server was awesome. It was obvious that the kitchen staff takes pride in what they do. Probably some of the best sweet potato fries I've ever tried. My egg scramble was perfect and the side of fruit was freshly cut and absolutely delicious. I think that I'll be looking for excuses to travel to Richfield more frequently in the future...those sweet potato fries are still calling my name...

We were in town for basketball games and gave this a whirl. We went at about 4:00 and it wasn’t busy. We ordered the western burger, two orders of the tri-tip, and pancakes.Here are some callouts:Atmosphere - clean and inviting.Service - fantastic! Our server was a delight. Refilled drinks appropriately. Food was prepared quickly. Asked if we wanted any to-go cups for our drinks at the end of our meal.Food - quite good with room for improvement. Quality of food was on point. The burger patty was seasoned well. If you get the western burger just know that it is quite messy and is stacked pretty high. Tell them to go easy on the BBQ sauce. Very tasty burger otherwise. My boys ordered the tri-tip medium rare and they nailed the cook on it. However, we didn’t really care for the seasoning they used on the tri-tip. It tasted like a season we associated with sausage or pastrami. Thinner cuts would be better than thick chunks as well. We wouldn’t get the tri-tip again. Pancakes were huge and flavorful. You’ll need to ask for more syrup than what they bring out. They are pretty sweet as well.Portion sizes were great. You get a lot of food for the $15 to $20 per plate. Fries were crispy and the mashed potatoes were tasty.We enjoyed it and will definitely try again.
Excellent food usually.Tonight was our 4th or 5th time going for prime rib, dinning in. My husband's prime rib was at the most, 1/4 inch thick. Not typical of Black Bear We were both shocked. Mine was just ok, over cooked. We were there at 4 pm when they start serving prime rib. We thought we would be early so we could get med rare prime rib. Very disappointed. I think they need a more qualified cook on Sat. night. Richfield , Utah
