I love that they’re not your typical Hawaiian spot that tends to be one-note. These guys have so many options. The standards are solid (teriyaki chicken, katsu, kalua pork) but they’ve also got garlic chicken, occasional garlic shrimp specials, deep fried musubi, and tons more. Can’t go wrong with any of it. I also found out the owner is a trained chef.
Amazing, fast, fresh, and delicious food. I love the atmosphere inside it’s cozy and quiet. It’s nice to have a place in Salem that isn’t just food sitting in a warmer for hours. Food that’s made to order but still comes out fast. I will definitely be coming here often.
Food was simple tasty and delicious. The curry with chicken katsu is a must have. Katsu chicken was cooked just right and the curry just add another layer of flavors. The kalua pork was delicious and moist and full of flavors as well. Along with the rice and the mac salad, it was a nice 2-meat plate of tenderness, flavorful and taste. Our order was mixed up a little and before we even finished explaining to the worker, the owner and the manager stepped in and immediate remediated...
