Food could’ve been great ? , the reason for 1 star is because when I decided to take the food to go , they brought me a to-go container , I packed my food up and then I went to go pay for it upfront as I returned back to the table my food was thrown out I had a full cup of the specialty drink everything was cleared. And I mentioned it . And they brushed it off with no care in the world. So I wasted $21 .. I didn’t want to make a big deal because there are a lot of people and no one was trying to take accountability.

Went for a lunch date with my wife. Arrive a little after 1:30 got sat down, and the waitress was right there to take our drink orders and regular order. We seemed pleased at first but then we never saw her again come to our table. Or ours was in by easily 1:37 they had just finished a rush and weren’t to busy easily managed. And as other customers came in they got sat down and got ordered. I then waited just shy of an hour before I noticed three tables than came in after us had received their food finally I seen our waitress and asked for our check as we were done waiting. As soon as we did that our food was magically ready probably had been sitting under the lamps for awhile I rejected it and paid for our drinks. When I talked with the owner he didn’t even care, that we hadn’t received any quality service. The chip staff was more friendly than the actual waitress! I recommend going to Denny’s for better service and honestly better quality of food. Won’t get as sick cause it’s not as greasy and Dennys has better standards of cleanliness!

No one cared we were there. It was little busy and we waited mote then hour prior to food. Food was in such a small size for mexican restaurant and they sell more cheese then meat. My dish barely had any meats! Find different place!

Waited over an hour for food at El Mexicano. Messed up my order, too much cheese on everything. Chicken fajita had more peppers than chicken. Small portions compared to other places. Wouldn't recommend.

The nachos needed more cheese - there was barely any. The chicken tacos were dry. From the time we ordered, it took 35 minutes for the food to arrive. No alcohol available to pass the time. One of the servers was wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with a western-themed " Let's Go Brandin' " logo. We know what you mean anyway. Real classy joint.

I love El Mexicano!! My husband and I always go out of our way to come here when we are in the area. The food is DELICIOUS!!! They have fresh chips and salsa, and the shredded beef chimichanga is my FAVORITE! Great enchiladas as well. and the horchata is TO DIE FOR IT IS SO GOOD!! It costs around $15 per person and honestly does take a bit to get your food sometimes, but it is so very worth it!

YES! This restaurant has great Mexican food. The portions are shareable, the flavors are bright and the prices are $9-$14.The service was warm and attentive. The restrooms are clean and well stocked. The tables and seating was clean well.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options! The enchiladas are corn tortillas and the sauces use corn starch instead of flour.Parking: LARGE parking for RVs and trailersKid-friendliness: Kid’s menu prices are $7

It's difficult to find authentic Mexican food in the middle of Utah. While this location is very popular with the locals, it's far from the quality I would expect. The service is often slow, and the food seems like it's prepared ahead of time and topped with cheese and sauce, then heated up and served. While the food and service isn't the best, it's difficult to find anything better in the area.

I’m giving it a 3 star, because even though they were a little busy and we did show up an hour before closing time the staff was super friendly brought us our chips and salsa. Other than that I’d give it a 1 on the food in my meal. It took over an hour to get our food.My chili rellonos were cooled off and so was my refried beens. The only warm thing on my “hot” cold plate was the rice. The other meals of the small group seemed okay.

This is my go to eatery when in the Richfield area. The food is great, especially the salsa. Had an opportunity to meet the owners, they are great people providing great food.

They were swamped with Temple Open House guests (every group had 6-22 people), yet still maintained a good experience.
