Started with a good cold salad without the dressing i ordered...then the mashed potatoes and green bean were cold. The fried shrimp were fine but without the cocktail sauce as printed on the menu. When I asked for it, the waitress disagreed, but then decided to check with the kitchen. She never came back with the answer until finally I waived her over. Then she tells me they're all out.
I eat out a lot and this was the worst food and service I've had for years! TV dinners were better.

It was a nice small town atmosphere that you can't get in the big cities. The place was decorated with some old newspapers, photos, and vintage items.. it was fun. The waitress Jenna was extremely friendly and great to work with. The food was Meh. The fries had an over cooked and sour taste... and the other meals we ordered were not bad.. but the bread was really soggy and falling apart and i couldn't bring myself to finish it. The pie was a little pricey for the slice being so small. My meal was supposed to come with a scone as well and I was not even offered one... apparently they ran out of them. The waitress did not tell us that however. She offered the other table next to us free slices of pie because they did not get their scones but we were not offered free pie and had to pay $5 something for a small slice. When you come through the back entrance from the parking area you have to be careful not to bump into any tables or any of the people dining as there is not a walkway or clear entrance into the restaurant. They also have the doors to the kitchen wide open so anybody can see in . As we were sitting waiting for our meals all we heard were the waitresses gossiping in the back about the diners and the people in the restaurant. You could hear everything. I know they are young but it would have been nice if they were a little bit more discreet and more professional. Would I come again? Probably not.. but it was okay for a quick homely meal.

Had a fish burger who wasn't bad but it fell apart. Husband had blue cheeseburger, it fell apart. The table was so wobbly, it almost built our water.

Some of the worst breakfast food I’ve ever had. No joke, my wife and I were talking about it hours later. It’s not easy to mess up bacon, eggs, hash browns, or pancakes, but somehow they did. Even the coffee was gross. It was also a ghost town so probably not a staffing or rush hour issue. Service was decent enough, a bit slow given the fact that there was only one other customer.

Had the soup and sandwich.
Soup of the day was corn chowder and I truly enjoyed the flavor.
Sandwich was ham on sourdough, lightly toasted, and just right.

I’m really disappointed with my experience at Moms Cafe. I came in excited to order a meal, but they were out of almost every food item on the menu, including basic things like potatoes. At first I thought it was just one or two items, but everything I asked for on the dinner menu wasn’t available. I understand that shortages happen, but it felt really unprepared and unprofessional. It was frustrating to sit down, look over the menu, and then find out there was basically nothing to order.
I hope this can be addressed so future customers don’t have the same experience.

We ate here because we were waiting for our vehicle to get repaired. The restaurant is pretty dirty and dated. The waitress was very nice and friendly. It wasn't very busy the day after Thanksgiving. The food was decent and our family ate everything. The price was a bit high as it cost my family of 6 over $80 to eat here, and that's with 2 kid meals. We couldn't see a ton of options on the main road in Salina, so we gave this place a try.

Absolutely loved this place! We’re on a road-trip from Texas and the breakfast here is the BEST I’ve ever had!! The pancakes are thick and fluffy, sausage was delish, eggs tasted like farm fresh. 10/10 Will be coming back next time we’re in town!
