Friendly but slow. Food is really good and freshly made, which makes it slower service. I'd rather wait for fresh food than have food handed to me within seconds.

I tried the new Chicken, bacon, and ranch pita, and it was good. The fries were flimsy, oily, and not very good overall. We really needed to use the restroom, but they didn't have one. Not many options in Salina. This is just a drive through, no place to sit and eat.

We usually really enjoy going here, but today my mother in-law and I ordered food over the phone and were told it would be a 15 minute wait. We show up 20 minutes later, come up to the window and everyone just walks by for 5-10 minutes without talking or even looking at us. Okay, things happened. Maybe you guys were just busy, not a big deal. Finally, someone comes to the window and said that they were going to be a minute longer because our food wasn’t finished. Once again, things happen, not a big deal. Then when we get the food, they made it completely wrong. It was a bit disappointing because usually this place is really great!

Such a cute and delicious hamburger place! Found it after rockhounding today. The food took me back to the good old days, and how it's supposed to be done! I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of the perfectly made hamburger, Bacon Cheese Burger, and fries. Got a cute picture of the amazing artwork on the wall, however. Bravo to this found gem!

Great, Great, GREAT! Place to go. Service was quick and friendly, food tasted incredible, and the prices were VERY affordable! Expect to pay a little more than the menu prices, they're a little higher after you buy your food. Even after the extra money, it was affordable and tasted incredible!
Beats any fast food chain restaurant hands down. However, make sure to go through your order 8/10 times we're missing something otherwise great place to eat.

My girlfriend and I stopped in November of last year on our way to Capitol Reef and Escalante. It was so good I’m writing this eight months later! Definitely always going to stop when traveling out to the swell or any reason I’m passing through town. We loved the retro style of the building, and the good old fashioned feeling of ordering at a window on the corner.
But this food, oh my word. Dear heavens. I’m willing to bet most every single ingredient in my burger was local. Every ingredient had a noticeable difference, the only thing that compares is when I’ve grilled burgers with local, fresh beef. But I’m telling you the burger I had that day was one I will always remember and want to stop by for again. We both loved our dinner, thank you to The Hot Spot!

Great little stop on our way to Palisade State Park! Excellent burgers and chicken tenders.
They were swamped when we stopped on our way through on a Friday evening around 6, which is the sign of a great place to eat and I'm glad we stayed. The Mushroom Swiss Burger is to die for!
