The place was dirty, for example the napkin holders had smudges all over them, as did the floor, and several of the decorations. We were the only ones there, and when we came in it was awkward, and it was almost as if we were inconveniencing the staff. Eventually we were sat down at the only table where the lights were turned off, and given menus. My menu was falling apart. We tried to order several things off the menu, but were told that they couldn't make any of the things that were were asking for, off the menu. We were told that they could only make one thing, the combo. When we asked what the combo was, the server told us "traditional food", when we asked what that was, she said "meat, or vegetarian or both". It seemed like she was evading the question, or she didn't even know. There were five of us, and we order the only thing that they had, and it still took about 40 minutes. The food was ok, but the server wouldn't tell us what each thing was when she finally brought the food to the table. There were kids all over the restaurant, which I actually think is sweet. But it felt more like we were interrupting them taking care of thier children, and that we the customers were an after thought. I was really hoping that this place would be great, but I ended up feeling guilty for making my family go there.

Our experience at this restaurant on Saturday was terrible. Our food was cold. We have waited for a while for our food assuming it will be fresh and hot. Well it was cold. We have paid $70.00 and we pretty much did not even eat. We talked to the owner and he said that his sister broke his arm and this is why it is cold. I am sorry she broke her arm and we have paid good money for something we did not even eat. We wanted to order sambusa and was told they don't have this today. Honestly we will never go there again.

Their food is authentic. The owner is friendly and cares about the product she puts out to her customers. Great place for a bite. One of the few places whose food I crave in SLC

Delicious Ethiopian meals for our group! There were nine of us, we ordered both vegetarian and ultimate platers. Food was excellent, service very friendly. Very cozy and inviting environment. We are excited to come again!

Interesting food, that was much better than I originally thought. Trying to branch out to new options, and I'd recommend here. The service was fine, food was cooked well, seasoned well, and overall a good experience.

Was feeling like eating with my hands for lunch! And my normal go to place was clossed. So I yelped up the AR and rolled on over. We were promptly seated and looked the menu over. We ordered some appetizers. They were similar to Samosas but with a different name. Then the combo platter. The food came out quickly and we dug in. All of the colorful dishes were so good. I ate my fill and then a little more. Definitely more food than just two of us should have eaten. But so good.

Ethiopian foods are always delicious and decent. One notable key "ingredient" that is in almost all African foods in general...is the hot-peppers-that gets the eater's attention and that makes them know that they're not just eating any ordinary foods, but good O no artificial flavor whatsoever..non GMOs added naturally tasty African foods. At this location, the foods are so delectable and savory you may for sure be seeing yourself coming back for more from time to time. For the hot-peppers saga, the best way to deal with this situation is to drink soft drinks or fresh milk as you diligently masticate the African foods.
