Absolutely delicious food. We tried the pabellon (don’t sleep on the side of cheese!!!) Shout out to Ubaldo who was super friendly and attentive and made the experience extra special by letting us sample the drinks/juices (passion fruit was our favorite). He also dropped off some delicious homemade chimichurri sauce for us to try. The restaurant/restroom were super clean despite us coming during a lunch rush. They had lots gluten free and vegan options. Needless to say, the photos don’t do it justice & we will definitely be back!

Arempas is an authentic Venezuelan food experience with delicious options. It always takes me back to my time living in Caracas and reminds me of my father’s home cooked arepas (he is from Mérida Venezuela). Every time we come to SLC we visit Arempas for a meal. We will be back again soon

DENNIS IS MY HERO!!! Discovered we had a flat tire after having dinner at a different restaurant downtown… We just happened to be parked in front of Arempas. Dennis saw two young women struggling and instantly jumped in to assist, bringing his own tools and changed the tire for us. Truly cannot thank him enough for his kindness… He refused to take any money for his help, but you’ve gained two new loyal customers for life! Thanks Dennis!!! 🫶

I had to stop here while visiting Salt Lake because there is no Venezuelan food where I live. It was so good! I would order everything on the menu if I had time, money, and a bottomless stomach.
Vibes were great - loved the decorations.
To go service was very fast even though it was dinner time on a Saturday.

I made a large take out order for a work event, and couldn't have been happier. The food was ready exactly when needed, everything was labelled clearly and they even helped me carry all the food out to my car. The best part--it was all delicious! This Venezuelan spot nails comfort food with heart and flavor. The arepas in the photo say it all golden, slightly crisp on the outside, warm and soft inside, packed generously with fillings. The shredded chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, while the avocado mix had that perfect creamy, zesty balance. It is the kind of food that tastes homemade but polished enough to show care in every detail.
