Dropped in for their trivia night and it was great! Our party had the feta cheese dip, diablo and fig pizzas. Drinks, we had wine flights and a few cocktails. The Old Fashioned was excellent and super smooth. Will be coming back for sure and would highly recommend for trivia or a date night.

We loved our experience at Bar A Vin! The food was fantastic - definitely try the Caprese Pizza and the Creme Brûlée! We loved the atmosphere, and trivia night was so fun. The people who assisted us were very nice, attentive, and knowledgeable. They started us off with a $1 pour of wine before water — pleasant surprise!! The pizzas are phenomenal, and the charcuterie board was delicious. Reasonable price with great quality, service, and atmosphere. A memorable experience and I’m sure I’ll be back again ❤️🍷

An amazing gem! A place where you can try different wines in 1 oz sips. Specialty cocktails (especially the margarita) were delicious. Kasey was an amazing guide through the different regions and their associated flights. His knowledge is broad and inviting . The ambience was warm and relaxed. It is worth the flight from California to Utah !

Love this place! Their specialty is little wine flights so you get a chance to try lots of different wines. The service is spectacular. Kimo is the best! He’s passionate and knows his stuff. We’ve also had Lucy who is excellent. This place also takes feedback seriously. Every time we visit they’ve taken it up a notch, between the menu and atmosphere and wine selection (service has always been 110%). We brought our friends for a little celebration a few months back, and they all loved it! There was something for everyone, between the flights (ranging from $-$$$) and appetizers.

I recently held an anniversary gathering here where the owner, every member of the staff and ambiance was amazing! They offer gluten free crust for their pizzas and non-alcoholic wines as well.

Oh my goodness, I took my wife here for a date and man it was absolutely amazing. From the second I walked in, Kasey the owner helped us to our table asked if it was our first time and took great care of us. Angela was our waitress and man does she know her stuff! She was so kind, courteous, knowledgeable and funny. This was one of the best date night spots we’ve had in a while. I am so happy to hear that SLC now has a spot like this. Angela, thank YOU!!!

Third time visiting Bar a Vin and it was amazing! Shoutout to Kimo - so kind and such great service. We ordered the Kings of California flight and the Pinot flight, which had a white Pinot Noir (yum), then a bottle of wine. The wine selection is amazing and there is nothing like it (that we have found so far) in Utah. We enjoyed the charcuterie more than the pepperoni pizza but would still order both again! Can’t wait to go back!!!

We had such an amazing experience at this wine bar! My fiancé called ahead to let them know we were celebrating, and the owner personally walked us to our table and surprised us with two glasses of champagne wine to kick off the evening—it was such a thoughtful touch. The pizza was absolutely delicious (easily some of the best in SLC), and the atmosphere was so fun. We stayed for trivia, which made the night even better, and our server was just as wonderful as the owner—attentive, kind, and made sure we were taken care of. Truly such a special place. We’ll definitely be back!
