We love this place. So much fun with board games at the tables and a good selection of beers to choose from.

The night shift staff has a serious attitude problem, specifically towards women. Genuinely embarrassing that the staff believes they can speak the way they do.

Been visiting since their opening. Great beer selection, great brats (now expanded with Cotton Bottom goodies!), and one of the most efficient beverage ordering lines in SLC.

Popular downtown place with quick service, extensive draft beer selection and great food, including gourmet brats, hotdogs, fries, etc. Excellent for a late-night meal downtown.

I love this place but what I saw tonight was absolutely horrible. Bar tenders and staff all dehumanized, laughed and escalated a situation with a woman going through either an episode or a very real event and it was handled poorly throughout. The situation was so escalated this woman kept coming back to the bar to yell at literally anyone that would listen, it was obvious she was hoping someone would help her in some way by either humanizing her and her experience or de-escalate the situation. I don’t know how staff there feels good about laughing, belittling and calling someone names, how does that help de-escalate this kind of situation? I get that we have a homeless and drug addiction problem but if what this lady was saying is true she’s going through a hell of a time and the way it was handled escalated it to point that even I as patron felt like I had to somehow intervene for the sake humanizing a very tragic situation. It lasted for longer than it should have, if anything.

Came here for a quick bite and drink before heading to the airport for our flight out. Got the breakfast sandwich on brioche bun (they were out of bagels) and he got the Ruben Brat. Both were excellent and the drink selection was great, especially for someone who enjoys sour beers. Very chill vibe.

Good food, friendly open crowd sitting. I'll go back and keep going until 3x rude shows up. Not gay but the place very open to them.

Fantastic options, so many beers on their menu it was difficult to decide. The new outside area is amazing! Swing seating, and misters in the back. Great bar!

Consistent, with a solid beer selection rivaled only by a few other locations in Salt Lake City. Food is above average both in quality and price.

So, I went to Beer Bar—because apparently I hate myself—and honestly? It was giving fake Oktoberfest energy, like, we get it, you found one German word and ran with it. The beer? Overpriced cosplay pretending to be premium. I’ve had more authentic lagers at frat parties. Blindfolded.

And the line. Oh my god, the LINE. It was like a conga line of disappointment. You move forward just to realize you’re still ten sad souls away from a lukewarm brew poured by someone who looks like they got tricked into working there.

The vibe? Picture a garage. Now picture teens trying to throw a party. Now take away the cool teens. Yeah. That.

I’m not saying don’t go. I’m saying—unless your idea of a night out is “queue-induced existential crisis with a side of foam,” maybe just stay home and watch paint dry. It’ll be cheaper, faster, and honestly? Probably more Oktoberfest than whatever that was.

Walked into beer bar this afternoon, the establishment was not busy yet my friend and I were completely ignored by the staff. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes waiting to get our IDs checked while the staff was standing behind the bar having their own conversation. Clearly our business was not wanted so we walked out to spend our money at a bar that at the bar minimum acknowledges our excess. Will not be returning.
