Authentic NY style Pizza. Best in Utah and I've tried them all around here.
The reviewers complaining are little whiners that can't plan around a good pizza place taking a hour when busy. If you know it'll take that long, call it in ya big baby

Best N.Y. pizza in Salt Lake!!! The Staff is always AMAZING!!! THE STAFF IS THE BEST! I'm originally from N.Y. and I love seeing all the little old NY men come in and talk to eachother while waiting for their PIE. The kitchen guys are always so nice and the servers are always great conversation. This is the ONLY place I'll get pizza. You can close ypur eyes and take a bite and you'll forget you're in Salt Lake, You will feel like you're in New York at the pizzeria down the street- it's THAT good. Sam and Coulson awesome service thank you again for another great pizza!

7 pm on a Friday night (tonight): only doing to go orders?! So we pivot and attempt to order to go, but the wait is 90m w no where to sit and no drinks (we do not live close). After 30Y of frequenting this establishment, we are done.

As a NYer who never really enjoys pizza outside NY, but this place was pretty decent! The taste was very much there for the pizza, I just wish there was fluffier crust like in NY. We finally found Garlic Knots too, just wish they had more garlic flavor. The vibe inside is very NY pizza. And I would caution, the Alfredo Mac and cheese is not worth getting. Very creamy, but 0 flavor. The garlic bread was delicious that came with it though.

Dining room randomly closed. Pizza estimated 1 hour. Not worth trying, pizza looks mid anyways.

I haven't been there to see if their plans to expand have happened, so as far as the atmosphere goes what I know is a very cozy smallest 12 seat seating area where you can actually see the pizza oven. They make your pizzas fresh, it's a very good New York style, and I would suggest everybody try their ranch. It's a housemate ranch that just goes so well with their sauce on their pizza. We probably ordered there a dozen times or so, we would order more but we know it's there it's just kind of hidden in the very tail end of a strip mall. Better signage would attract more business I believe

Place has really gone down hill. Sorry to say. Used to be a favorite so I take no pleasure in saying this. I only hope sharing my experience will ignite change.
The pizza was terrible — crust, cheese, sauce — not sure what they changed since years past.
The service is extremely complacent and oblivious to customer wants and needs (we were only people in the store and I had to ask for drinks 10 minutes after ordering and then later ask for the salads to be brought out, meanwhile several employees were standing around in the back, oblivious to serving the customer).
I hope the best for this place, but I have zero desire to return.

Best NY style slice to get in the SLC area. Friendly staff, decent prices, and good food! Pizza is 5/5, pasta 3/5 - haven't found a great pasta dish here every for the Alfredo Mac. Spaghetti was quite a disappointment.

Big Apple is no longer our go to for pizza in Utah. The last 2 pies we purchased were low on sauce, cheese and toppings. I don't know if John sold or if costs have something to do with our dissatisfaction but we will not be patrons anymore (this after over 20 years of being loyal customers).
I don't know how you guys do it but this is the closest thing to Italian pizza in Salt Lake City. I've lived in NYC, Europe and this place makes some of the best pizzas I've ever had. Please never change your recipes.
Super chill place to grab a bite! I've been going here for years, with friends and solo. It's always a great experience! Great food, fun employees and the orders always right! I'd give 10 stars if I could!!! Love them!!!
