We came on a Sunday for lunch. It was my mother-in-law and my daughter with me. They didn't have a kids menu on display but she said they had kids grilled cheese and tomato soup which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. My mother in law got clam chowder and I got the Utahts (like a tater tot casserole). All of it delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely stop in again. I really want to try their French dip next time!
For a quick lunch with exceptional food, this is the place.

Creative menu and everything we ordered was delicious! We had the #1 and #3, and made one of them a meal with some delicious seasoned fries. Our daughter enjoyed her kids meal as well.

The sandwiches were delicious! We tried the OG dipper and the Cuban style. Both were totally awesome. The rosemary au jus was to freakin' die for! Also loved the cheese curds with the chaat masala. What an awesome spin on a classic. Prices were reasonable and the sandwiches filled us up. Recommended!

Hubs wanted sandwiches for his birthday dinner and had been wanting to come to the Big Dipper. The title world inspired French dips is spot on. I loved the options! It was SO good! I would recommend the sandwiches most, they were the definite stars of the evening!! We got the Seoul-Ed out Korean sandwich and my kids loved the kimchi with the egg and shaved roast beef, it came with a ramen broth dip. Hubs had the find me dippin in the club with grilled chicken breast and creamy chicken soup. We also had the a hunk a hunk a Bernese love which had roasted pork with a mustard dip. All were so well made and could be soaked with the side dips! My younger kid had the yakisoba ramen which he ate up! Look at the menu to see how much good stuff goes into each sandwich. So good and creative, and love reading the menu names! I also had the gluten free and bunless salad but I wish they used a Vietnamese sweet fish dish sauce instead of a semi oily dressing, next time I would just get the Saigon in sixty seconds sandwich cuz I will definitely be back! There’s seating outside on the patio and inside in chairs, at a small bar, and cushioned booths. The drinks are normal Coke products plus hibiscus, caramel apple milk, and cucumber lime, and the sauce bar!! Ketchup, curry ketchup, sesame mayo, curry mayo, Big Dipper sauce, the sauce station was a favorite among the kids and adults alike. Parking on the street can be difficult but we got lucky when we arrived. Definitely a great fast casual spot for delicious creative take on Philly sandwiches with so much flavor and punny sandwich names!

Ordered this on a whim while couch rotting and DID NOT EXPECT to find myself eating what is officially a contender for THE BEST VEGETARIAN WRAP IN SLC. My mouth is on happy fire (I’m a spice wuss) from this veggie wrap, and I think from the black bean soup too, but who knows because it is all just a blur of deliciousness. I *will* become a spicy girlie for this wrap. I will lend this wrap my car if it needs one.
And the homemade ketchup or whatever this fry sauce situation is?! Is there fruit in here?! Whatever is happening, it’s delightful.
Okay back to stuffing my face but my god I had to leave a glowing review first.
Oh and the seasoned fries are so good!!!!

Cute space, fun whimsical and modern all the same time great names of the sammies.
Will come again!
I live in Ogden and had been at a two day conference for work. I wanted to grab a bite while I waited out the evening commute traffic. Big Dipper came up as the nearest local sandwich shop when I did a google search, and being a socially drained and starving introvert, I decided to go for it.
Wow did I hit the jackpot finding this little gem! I ordered the Eight Oh Eight, an Italian sandwich with meat and fresh mozzarella and veggies so thick it was falling out of the bun. It came with a small cup of tomato soup and seasoned fries, and while I originally thought I’d save half the sandwich for later because of its size, everything was so delicious I polished it off.
The service was fast and friendly, and they offer a cooler full of specialty fry sauce and mayos for the taking. This place saved me in ways they will never understand.
I highly recommend Big Dipper and will be back for sure!

Didn’t understand what was the hype about this place. Meat smells old, dip was no other than salty flavor ordered 2 different sandwiches and they and they both were not good.

I was downtown for a work meeting and decided to check this place out. Wow- it was such a tasty sandwich with balanced flavors. The idea to have different soup flavors paired for dipping - delicious. I had the Hermosa Habana- I almost stopped back before heading home to buy one for dinner! Quick service, good portions, and decent prices.

Amazing specialty sandwiches along with the classics. Sauce bar is like a taco shop sauce bar but for fries and tater tots. Fresh made drinks every day and usually around $15-$20 for a really satisfying and delicious meal. I go here at least once a week.
