The presentation of the food was great and it looks very similar to how it is depicted on the web. However, the chicken sandwich seemed to have too many spices creating a powdery texture, overshadowing the taste of the chicken in every bite. The sandwich also lacks salt, contributing to the lack of taste. There are four spice levels that start with chili power, then cayenne, and then shoots abruptly to habenaro and ghost pepper. I tried the cayenne and it was too mild and the habenaro was way too spicy. Fine tuning the seasoning and balancing the extremes of the spiciness level will elevate the dining experience in an already fun, vibrant atmosphere Hallpass offers.

Food was alright. Paid around 20 dollars after tax and tip for the combo meal. Definitely not worth it taste wise. Additionally I got food poisoning. Will not be going back.

Their chicken is really good, it's just super expensive. It's $11 just for the chicken strips and then I think it was an extra $5 to make it a combo with a side and drink. Their fries are bomb! If you want more than one sauce and/or a different sauce from ranch though, it's going to cost you extra. For the price you're already paying and the big portion of chicken strips and a side of fires, I feel like they shouldn't be stingy with sauce. BTW, if you don't like spicy/hot food the spice levels don't mess around.Parking: Paid parking garage for Gateway. It's best to park on the Summer/south side.

The service is good and the food hall is a neat place, but this chicken.... OK it's like they took bland chicken, didn't season their batter, semi fried it and then dumped cayenne pepper on top and called it Nashville hot chicken. I couldn't even eat it, it tasted so bad. There are like 6 restaurants, try a different one.

This is one of the food options in the food court. The spice levels were good but they could probably add more flavor. I was drawn to this because of the wall painting that is there close to the restroom.

Good place and good food! but Today I went to buy something and the guy who is always there doesn't even attend or help, apart from the fact that today I bought some cajun fries and i get a half!!? The last time I bought the cajun fries they gave me the full portion,he told me that he wasn't going to do anything, that's how it came.

Great spot. Like a mall food court but with much better decor and atmosphere. Went here with a large family group, 6 adults and 5 kids ages 4 to 13. With a nice variety of food choices, we were able to find something for everyone and the food was good. There were lots of nonalcoholic beverage options. I tried a red cream soda that was delicious. This was a great place to meet up and hang out. Good music, but not too loud for conversation. Great option for casual dining with kids.

So let me say this is an amazing ambiance! Hall pass is a great idea that basically rents spaces out to food trucks and provides a great cafeteria/bar type atmosphere. The blaze of thunder chicken sandwhich is to die for.m ?

Tastes exactly how I would expect Nashville style hot chicken made in Utah to taste: Bland, dry, and lacking flavor. You know you need to go back to the drawing board when the ranch dip doesn't even taste good. The Cajun fries were good though. Also it is EXPENSIVE. At these prices, you might as well just go to Pretty Bird or Chik-Fil-A instead, at least those taste good.

Too expensive for a very mid attempt at Nashville Hot Chicken. The prices here were insane, and they charged extra for every add on, even sauce. For the price, you should just go to Pretty Bird, you will pay the same and get a better experience too.

Great options for a large group. Every single thing ordered looked and tasted fantastic. Service on the ball, beautiful interior, lots of alcohol options- surprised at some of the luke warm reviews, it was a great surprise experience. Going again in a couple days.

Disgusting. Staff was rude and you essentially wait on yourself so i dunno what that’s about.Don’t ask for Mayo they get really mad at the front counter. Chicken has no flavor and almost double breaded. The fries were krusty with too much seasoning, not crunchy. Best advice - go somewhere else
