Some of the best food in Salt Lake City. The he chef is incredible! How is it that the best cubano sandwhich I have ever had came from a bar? Idk, but it did. And I’m so happy I gave it a shot. The vibe here is great. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with ordering. This place rocks. Keep doing what you’re doing Boomerangs Down Under Bar Millcreek! You all are killing it??.

Went here for a show tonight and the host of the venue were all amazing! Teeny was 10 out of 10 stars. The food was damn good too, I had the Bahn mi earlier today and it was huge and full of flavor! I ordered a Cubano to go for after the show which I have yet to taste but it looks amazing! Great people, great music, and just an overall cool place! Will be back if I see more shows I like here since a truck driver and they let me park right out side without a trailer.

I came here with my husband for lunch on a Sunday, so I cannot comment on Boomerang at night. Although you may be mislead by the loud outdoor speakers—but it’s a bar, so not that shocking—inside was a great, with live music playing (that wasn’t too loud).
However I will be coming back for one main reason: the food. Best sandwiches I’ve had in all of SLC. Gerry, the Mastermind behind the food, has talent and puts some serious thought into what could be simple and boring dishes.
Highly recommend trying the Cubano with wedge fries and their side salad. Simple has never tasted so good in this City.

Boomerangs is a dual-location bar with pubs in Millcreek and Downtown.
The Millcreek location is much bigger and flat. This one-level rubbidy has a stage for everything from singer-song writers to bands to DJs. They have an industry night every Monday if your haunt is feeling drab. I don't mean to say Boomerangs is a hot night spot, but they have acts of interest to locals fairly regularly. This touch of locale makes me adore the joint. The chalkboard concierge with the day's specials is nice. The rotating low-budget beers and passionate specials are always worth considering.
They do serve mixed drinks but the wall-o-booze is shallow. Not ones to show off, bottles needed are those on display. No glitz and glamour at the handsome bar. No stubby tastings. An ample patio with shade is always available.
Locals like Boomerangs. It's a solitary watering hole bordered only by The Millcreek Bar and Bongo's a mile away. The food menu is adequate. Salads, burgers with fried fries, fried chicken, fried tots, onion rings, and fried potato wedges. The QR menus detract from the rustic leanings of the Boomerang's name. It's a covid fad that needs to go the way of too many grandpas.
