Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

A restaurant in which you can actually talk to each other without shouting! How wonderful!! The decor is truly weird -- a completely random and dense collection of photographs! The service was outstanding. The food was as good as some of the better Italian restaurants we have been to. Their serving sizes are meant to be shared, and tend to be perfect for a party of 4. Minor complaint: They don't seem to have an option for a party of 2 ... which resulted in quite a bit of wasted food in our case because we didn't want to take the left-overs back to our hotel room.

We ordered spaghetti and MEATBALLS and we received spaghetti and MEAT SAUCE instead. They ran out of meatballs but did not inform us and made the decision of giving us meat sauce instead. If we were told ahead of time that they did not have meatballs we would have ordered something else. The same table next to us had the same experience. The ambience was also not the same as I recall 20 years ago. Wanted my son to experience what my husband and I had experienced but very disappointing.

What a wonderful dining experience! All must go try out this delicious food with incredible staff and an awesome manager Cornell! He was so welcoming to this military family from Denver Colorado. He made sure our food was spectacular and our dining experience the best. Thanx Cornell!

They used to be better. Lately their food has lost the pizzazz it used to have. Not sure what the difference is but it's just not the same. The sodas were really flat too.

I believe her name is Annalise was our server. Absolutely fantastic I miss calculated the money I had and didn’t have enough for the tip she really deserved i apologize. Her recommendations were on point very attentive and great customer service. Management must be good there

This restaurant was the best the staff and the head guy was fabulous!!!!

Kitchen was under staffed.
Front desk was overwhelmed, turning away customers and recommending nearby restaurants.
Volleyball at Convention Center.
Server messed up our order.
Kids Mac n cheese was bland, kitchen made large vs small chicken carbonara, wrong pasta noodles, and was overpowered with garlic.
It was obvious the staff and kitchen were not at their best.
It was disappointing, my friend frequents this restaurant and we spent about $25 per person on drinks, food and dessert.

The food here, it must be noted immediately, is delicious, and there's a great variety of options. All the food is family-sized, so there's going to be plenty of whatever you order. We got sat pretty quickly too. We didn’t see much of our server, and the A/C was broken, which made for a very warm meal, but I'd happily eat here again!

Dietary restrictions: They were very good about helping us find low carb options, but most other restrictions might be hard to find an option for.

Parking: It's busy SLC, so you may not be able to park very close.

We had a great dinner tonight - the food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Nisha was attentive and enthusiastic - and so was Craig!

I went here with a large group of friends, and we had an amazing time. The food was fantastic (they even accommodated 5 vegetarians well), the service was unparalleled (shoutout to Nisha & everyone else), and the amazing chef (Cosette) even came out to check on us. Will definitely go here again next time I’m in town!
