we got the italian cold cuts and bbq chicken sandwiches - both of them were really great. we really liked the bread especially. they have covered outdoor seating. we will definitely come back when we come back to SLC

WOW, we used Happy Cow to find a nearby Vegan place for my frined to try his first Veg Food
We found Buds, drove over, parked right in front, ordered and then experienced one of the best sandwiches I've had in years
I can't wait to visit again
Salt Lake City is a cool place to visit, and Buds is a GREAT place to eat. do yourself a favor, get one to eat there, and plan to take a second one home

Considering relocating to SLC so I can have real sandwiches back in my life. Their Italian was killer, a classic deli sandwich unlike I've had in about 20 years (unless going to the trouble of making one myself). The side pesto pasta was so good we had to go back for more to take on the road. All vegan. Outdoor covered seating only.

Ordered 2 Deli Classic sandwiches. Each sandwich had exactly 1 thin slice of turkey on them and then filled with lettuce to make it look full. Complete scam. And it didn't even taste good. The turkey slice was brown color. No thanks. Go someplace else.

I really wanted to like this place. I went to try because of all the raving reviews. It’s not my taste but I can see why people love this place. Th prices are reasonable and good portion. I thought the bread was way too hard, it blistered my mouth. If the bread was softer I could see me going back.

The gentleman that helped us was patient and had a great sense of humor.
Quick shout-out: One of the first things he asked about was whether anyone had allergies. Usually, I have to go out of my way to have an employee triple-check if there are allergens or if cross contamination is a concern. Even then, sometimes the employee or the cook then makes a mistake which is NOT a fun experience for anyone. Having this guy show attentiveness up front was super refreshing!
On top of the service, the food was great! I personally like their location. I hope they're around for years to come and have another reason I wish I lived closer to SLC.

This is my go to sandwich shop. Absolutely vegan and everything on the menu is amazing! My favorites are the Chimken (vegan) Caesar Salad wrap (can also get it with the sourdough bread and it's just as good), and the Italian. Best sandwich shop ever IMHO.
I like meat and wanted to try something different and this place didn’t disappoint! Buffalo chicken and Italian sandwiches were super fresh and the bread was awesome. Staff was friendly and prices were the cherry on top!
